After using Charter Communications for two (2) years we were offered a promotional deal. This was offered to us by Mail as well as by phone. We agreed to a two (2) year extenion for the ( Bundle ) for a price of $149.00. to include a DVR, High speed Internet service, All thr Movies channels, There Telephone service. First of all we picked up the DVR, a MOXI Box. It would not work. The charter Communication service rep said that they should of never gave us that because it takes a Tech to install it. So we set up a service call to do just that. The first Tech tried for two hours and said that there was a problem on the outside of the home that needed to be repaired. They came out the next day and said they repaired the outside problem, The MOXI Box still did not work! We set up another service call which was three (3) days later. That service Tech worked for at leased two more hours and changed Four more MOXI Boxes and could not get the system to work. We called Charter Communication again and was informed the we could not get the deal that was sent to us. They wanted alot more money. They said they that the MOXI BOX would be an addition cost. The price they quoted was over $200.00 a month. We let the service person know that we didn't want to pay any more than was quoted. We had a Promo code 511059 which they sent to us and a person on the telephone had agreed on. We pulled the MOXI BOX out ourselves when bach to Chater and got an HD box installed it ourself. We do not have any thing but basic Cable with internet and telephone.
It's very bad business practice to offer a product than go back on the offer. Also to offer a product that doesnot work. A very dissatifided Customer Rich Berner
