collections department
I was contacted by the collections department on July 13, 2009 about making a check by phone payment because my account was deliquent. The payment was supposed to go through on July 23, 2009, but of course it went through on the 13th. I called Chase on July 17, 2009 and talked to the supervisor, Joyce, who stated that she would look into the situation and call me back. I was told to fax a copy of my bankstatement showing that it would cause an overdraft of my bank account. Today is July 20, 2009 and I haven't been contacted yet but I called them and again I was told to fax my bank statement. They didn't even apologize for the situation knowing that I've told them I'm unemployed. This company sucks as far as having compassion!!!

COLLECTION STAFF
GLORIA, THE COLLECTION AGENT FROM MIAMI, FL. HAS BEEN CALLING EVERY PERSON WITH MY LAST NAME LEAVING HARRASSING PHONE MESSAGES. MY WIFE AND SON HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH CHASE AUTO FINANACE EXPAINING THAT OUR SON IS PRESENTLY UNEMPLOYED. HE HAS BEEN DOING ODD JOBS AND HAS CAME UP WITH THE TWO PAYMENTS THAT HE IS BEHIND ON. THE CHASE REP. STATED THAT IT DID NOT MATTER THAT THEY WERE REPOSSESSING HIS TRUCK, TOMORROW 07/15/2009.

WE WOULD LIKE FOR CHASE AUTO FINANCE TO BE MORE UNDERSTANDING IN THIS ECONOMIC HARD TIMES. OUR SON IS TRYING AND WILL CATCH UP ON THE PAYMENTS. WITHOUT THE TRUCK HE WILL NOT HAVE A CHANCE.

Rude Representation
I ve spoken to an extremely rude representative named
George re: making another payment towards my account. I
had already put another $100 on it to catch it up some.
He told me to keep the money and that he cant do anything
with that. He also said that they will not accept any
payment less than the $420.00 that is owed. Which is a fat lie. I am extremely livid by this response. I am also a customer service rep
who has dealt with collections over 10 years. Where I am now, I am expected to deliver courtesy to our subscribers no matter what. I am expected to be empathatic in their dilemmas no matter what otherwise I won t be employed. This was disgusting representation. I then asked for a supervisor and he flat out told me no and to call back.
This was 7/9/09 at 5:45pm. I am awe struck that if calls are being monitored as my calls are that these reps still work there & are getting away with speaking to people in this manner. I will never bank with you all because of the many mishandlings that I have experienced via phone. This treatment is unacceptable even if an
account is delinquent. I cant help my situation right now but I am doing my best and to be treated in this manner is ridiculous and I want something done. I have called and I can honestly say I've literally had 2 nice reps. This is why I dont call back when left a message. I do want something done about this and the phone call pulled and analyzed. I also called back and was tranferred into a
full voice mail for a supervisor. I called back again and
another rep left me on hold and didnt come back to the
phone. Simply outragous. I would never be able to get away
with this type of treament to our customers because our
management team listens to each call. I hope that you take
this seriously because this strategy is also illegal being
that aggressive. I do want that call pulled. I tried calling back again sw a Lovell id # n095682 (if this is a real #) he also would not get me to a supervisor. This is on 7/10/09. These people should all be fired. I know I would be if I talked to people in that manner. I am sending a copy to the Better Business Bureau as well. I really hope something is done about this because this is inexcusable.

lies-only help white people !
I asked chase to help me lower my payments due to separation of my wife and i .I was told i qualify only to be disrespected by the office .told me I could have payments lowered and still got me waiting on a reply--My friend made the same request (white ) got a reply in 3 days same situation.Chase is racist and unfair to costemers (black)

Run Away as Fast as you Can
Paid off my car loan on 05/31- even recoreded the call so I would have it if needed in court. Customer Service Agent told me numerous times as I made her repeat it what my payoff would be. Sent in that exact amount to the penny and now I get letters in the mail stating I owe morein "Other Fees Due". Chase Auto Finance corporate office number is:516-745-4009

He will be getting a call from me tomorrow and will listen or I am going to the news and the state AG. Beware of this company. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER. Rude agents, horrible to work with. Refuse to answer your questions unless you are sending a payment. I was actually told by someone over the phone that they couldn't asnwer my question as that was a customer service department function. I am 36 and will never do business with them again. I am telling everyone I know as well as will lobby against Chase to my friend who is in politics to look deep into thier practices. I will die before I do business with anyone that works for them, represents them or even has an account with them in ANY capacity.

Harrassing phone calls
Chase has been calling my cell phone over 5 times a day. I am only 100.00 late on auto loan. Only 10 days late. Chase repeatly calls over and over again. also calling my relatives phones. How does Chase get there cell phone numbers? There should be some law that prohibits them from calling more than once a day. Or is there a law in Florida

Lost Title
I had a 4 year loan with Chase Auto Finance for my Saturn. I paid the loan off 5 months early. Chase sent me a letter confirming that the loan was paid in full but never sent me my title. I called Chase and got different answers each time i called. All they could say was when my title was mailed to me... I told them that something as important as a title should have been sent "signature required". I have no proof they sent it. I called DMV who said i could get a replacement title for $25. I called Chase back and got a nice lady who said she will order a replacement title for me by the end of the month. The end of the month came and i received a letter stating...

"We are unable to complete your request. Chase no longer holds an interest in the above referenced vehicle."


So in the end i have to spend $25 and most of my day at DMV to get a replacement title... ARE U KIDDING ME?

constant runaround
Two months ago I called Chase Auto Finance to request all the information that I would need to have to register my car in a new state. They didn't send me the correct information although I was very clear what I needed. I called again and stated what had happened and what I needed to register my car. now almost a month later and many calls I still don't have the paperwork. I've called so many times and each time they give me conflicting dates on when things were processed and sent out. When I asked them what will happen if I don't receive it in another week they told me to call back, but that they didn't send out the info/Title.etc. a second time around. I asked them what they would do and they said they would have someone research it. I asked them what I was supposed to do in the meantime as I can't drive my car because it's not registered. They told me that they couldn't do anything once the information was sent. I highly doubt it was sent out when they said it was because things do not take a month to get anywhere. They lie, and give you the runaround. don't believe them. They just make things very ugly and difficult for you.

Getting the run around and the 3rd degree
Well let me get started by saying I agree with all the other opinions the other people have given, they are the most rude people in the business of car loans or anything else for that matter. I was just on the phone with chase today for about 2 hours, I kept getting put on hold for everything which thats understandable. When a rep finally spoke to me they were telling me the opposite of what another rep said to my wife. we need to get a deferment, my wife and I have fallen into hard times with money and we have allways been ontime making payments every month.
Well this lady named Valirie was telling me I can not have a deferment due me being unemployed but I get unemployment pay each week so I have money to make the bills every month. She gave me the 3rd degree and lectured me like she was my mother or worse actually, really demoralizing me. Thats not their problem if I'm unemployed all that they should just be concerned with getting their payment when I say I can make the payment, she kept telling me I was a low life with everything she was saying in a nut shell, so I hung up. I called back to speak with someone else my call kept getting passed around from person to person, each person I spoke with couldn't help me because they said they don't handle that stuff. So finally I got to someone else who spoke with my wife which he was extremely rude to her telling her to put me on the phone, my wife has all rights to the account so he shouldn't have been so short and rude to her, anyways He started to talk and was pretty much yelling at me about why did I call back when I have spoke with someone allready about the matter, I asked for a supervisor, he straight up said no! and hung up and re- routed my call to Washinton mutual bank. Little later my wife calls and gets a supervisor on the phone, he asked her if she was in employee she said no I'm a customer the guy said sorry I can't help you and hung up right away, his name was Steve. Thats where I'm at with chase the rip off bank.

MISREPRESENTATION

I have a loan with Chase auto finance (a huge nightmare) that I have paid faithly each month for 2 1/2 years.
Just recently I ran into a financial hardship and fell behind on my payments. I contacted Chase to tell them about my hardship and they told me if I made a payment by the 20th of the month they could help me and put 2mths on the backend of my loan but I would have to make my payment first. I agreed, and thanked them for working with me.

I called back to make sure they received my payment, they said yes, and than I asked about putting the two payments on the back-end of my loan as they promised. Much to my surprised I was informed they could not do that and proceeded to tell me I was delinquent and needed to pay the past due balance immediately. After talking with 2 representatives they finally agreed to submit the paperwork to the supervisor for review and told me to call back in 2 days, worst case if I did not get approved for two months they could give me one month.

I received a call the next day from Chase (after they took the money out of my account) telling me I was seriously past due and needed to make a $3, 000 payment now. I asked the girl why she was calling me I already made a payment and was suppose to call them back in 2 days to see if I was approved for a 2 month payment deferral.

She said I did not qualify and I needed to bring my account current. I preceeded to tell her that Chase lied just to get me to make a payment and had no intention of helping me. I repeated that they lied and I asked for a supervisor (what a mistake)... on hold for 5mins than MR. HUNTER answered and proceeded to tell me the same thing... I was seriously past due and they needed a payment of $3, 000 now. I told him they lied and trick me into believing they would put the payments on the backend of my loan and I recorded what they said which opened up another can of worms, he stated IT IS ILLEGAL to record anything without our authorization, they are wrong. You can take handwritten notes of the conversation.

Long story short if I do not come up with the $3, 000 payment "NOW" theywill take my vehicle. I am 32days past due on one payment and 5 days past due on the 2nd payment. If they would agree to one payment on the back-end that would help but they have no intention of helping at all and just want the car... in this economy a luxury will not sell for anything, oh I forgot they send you a bill for the difference.

It's unbelievable to me how I was treated and their practices should be illegal.
