I am a 5 years WAMU customer that was very unfortunate becoming a Chase Bank customer when Chase bought WAMU. Recently, bank manager said that they are closing my checking account because I deposited 2 checks that did not clear, however, it is not my fault that it did not clear and besides I did not withdraw the funds. Now they froze my account and even my payroll money, I am unable to withdraw because of this hold. Does this bank has a right to do this?
I have excellent banking history with no records of insufficient funds. It is very disheartening that I cannot withdraw my payroll funds. Their representatives cannot even provide me with accurate information and had passed me around
I challenge Chase Bank President to speak up in regards to this issue.
