In recent weeks I took out a Chase Visa Credit Card and today rec'd in the postal mail a statement indicating that, without my consent, Chase had enrolled me in the Payment Protector Plan, and that I was being automatically billed for it. I am outraged at this scam! It's precisely the kind of disregard of clients that you, Chase, and the rest of the corporate banking system have resorted to that has put our economy in its present state of chaos. i demand that you immediately cancel this plan and confirm that you have done so. I note that the chase website has been filled with dozens of other clients who have expressed their anger at being similarly scammed. I am urging these victims of your fraudulent practice to file complaints with the U.S. Better Business Bureau. I sincerely hope that the present Administration will, upon our petitions of protest, take action to bring Chase under close federal scrutiny and regulation, and if necessary dismiss it's CEOs who have sanctioned such a practice. I won't accept a brush off or sidetracking of this complaint to a lesser level of your corporate organization and, again, I expect immediate confirmation that you have canceled this fraudulent Chase Payment Protection Plan.
