Poor customer service
I am an active duty Army member and just recieved orders to Germany in route to a deployment in Afghanistan. In order for me to ship my car to Germany so that my pregnant wife and my son have transportation, I was required t o get a Lein Letter from my bank saying that they are giving me permission to ship my car. I called CHASE and spoke to a representative who said that I was required to have a minimum of 6 months of payments on the car(Which I could not accrue because I was moving 2 months after purchasing the car) and had the option of paying it in a lump sum so that I can meet that requirement. I would also need to send them a Letter of request with a signature, Copy of insurance, 2 personal references, New home adress(Which I will not know untill I report to my unit which is on a base, married soldiers reside on the economy)Current home adress( I will no longer be living there), a copy of my orders and shippers insurance. They said that after I mailed all this paperwork in It would then take 4 weeks minimum to process. I spoke to the shift manager and she was not helpful and rude. When I asked to speak to her boss she told me that she was the boss, so when I asked her for someone that had a higher decision making ability then her she would not give me a point of contact for that. Her name was Maureen and her ID # C4IEKWE.
Thanks to their bad service they lost a customer, because I immediatley called USAA and had my loan refinanced within the hour for 4$ more a month. And I recieved the letter granting me permission to send my car to germany while I was still on the phone processing my loan. I am happy with my move and now realize that CHASE bank is not friendly to Service Members and treats us as if we are criminals who are going to skip out on a loan. We leave because we are told told not by choice.

Harrasment
Chase Bank has started as they say a new program which calls you up to three times a day, 7 days a week to remind you of your payment before the due date. The same thing on every call, they want to verify all your info and remind you about your payment, like if what you told them yesterday is diffirent from today. Like every call some are nice, but 80% off them are very very rude. I keep telling them to stop calling unless the payment is late then I don't blame them, but now they want me to write them a letter and send it to them. Really, like if I have time to undue there harrasment. There is something that should be done, about these calls. If anyone has info please post.

Closed Account/overdraft fees/kept my disability check for weeks and still don't have it
I need an attorney and others to come forward regarding the bank practices of Chase Bank. These practices are criminal.

Unauthorized Access of Safety Deposit Box
I am a victim of a very nasty and insidious form of identity theft that went on undetected by me for many years and is directly related to a financial trust instrument that is in the possession of several of my relatives.
I recently discovered that someone impersonating me gained unauthorized access to my safety deposit box at the Chase Bank location of 2700 Yulupa Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA, 95405. There were signatures that look exactly like mine on the card, but at least three of them were recorded on dates when I can prove I was at work 42 miles away and would not have been able to be in the branch.
The annual fee for the safety deposit box was taken out of the checking account associated with the box on September 7th, 2010. I closed the box on September 25th, 2010, because my belongings in the box are not safe if someone impersonating me can successfully access them. The branch refuses to acknowledge the fact that someone impersonating me successfully accessed my safety deposit box, and they would neither allow me to have a copy of the signature record card associated with the box or a refund of the $55.00 annual fee I paid on September 7th.
Chase Bank is taking the position that no one other than me could possibly have had access to the safety deposit box; however, since my home is being broken into by intruders on a daily basis (who are going right past an alarm system as though it isn't even there), and since I discovered copies of documents from the safety deposit box had been brought into my home when I did not bring them into my home myself, there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that my safety deposit box was accessed by someone who quite successfully impersonated me.
What I want to know is why Chase Bank can get away with refusing to refund my $55.00 safety deposit box fee when my belongings were not in fact safe in their bank branch?

Unauthorized Debit Card Transactions
Had six charges of unauthorized activity and as soon as I noticed them, notified the bank and explained that I did not make the charges. Was told by their debit card resolution department (which is in the Manilla, Philippines) that I had to prove I didn't make the transactions. How the heck do you prove you didn't make the transactions if you didn't in the first place. Both the claims representative and her supervisor were rude and argumentative. When I called their regular customer service department he told me they were in the Philippines as well. So I called a local branch who told me there wasn't much they could do. The six unauthroized transactions caused six overdraft fees as well.

What a pathetic company. The poor service, long lines, and sloppy carless employees. Must be a sad place to work. It sure shows.

Making Home Affordable
This October will mark one year sending over 200 pages (faxes) to Chase. I have not worked since 2008, my unemployment ran out last April. Chase still has not modified my Loan. As of today they want more documents. In June they denied me because I did not get a letter from my state agency proving I was out of unemployment! I had to pay $200.00 to a lawyer ( that really did not help) to start the process all over again. According the Making home Affordable rules they are supposed to make it happen within 30 or 90 days. The problem is they have no legal ramification if they don't do the modification.
I called the US Treasury in April - Chase has not contacted them! The Treasury has my complaint and its at the supervisor level ! They can't do anything until Chase calls them! I told Chase to call them and they told me we more documents. !!
My House is not behind, never has been. I'm 100% on my family. This whole process is a scam. I need some good lawyer or someone to help... OHh.. I called the 1800 hope, they send you to a agency that will help you call Chase.. They have no real power! One agent said the bank should do a HARP over the phone after all this time.. We got discounted. The agent counselor has not called me. ! I called the supervisor yesterday so far no call! Chase gives you the run around when ask for the HARP modification. I need help..

In viewing our credit report..we note that Chase Bank has entered a negative comment regarding a business transaction for non-pay against us... We have never had any kind of an account with Chase absolutely nothing! No loan..mortgage..checking or saving account.. absolutely nothing!! Fkn assholes!! I just wonder how this happened..They could'nt possibly have any info on us considering we've ever done any business with them...so how did this attach to our files?...

Mortgage Modifications
Chase Bank is trying to STEAL MY HOUSE. After trying for months to get some assistence with my mortgage I was told by Chase that I had to "default" to get into any type of program. So in early 09 I did. In early 09 I went into the MHA Program through Chase. Now this many months later, this many trial payments later (of which I have not missed one), Chase has sent me a modified payment agreement to SIGN that is MORE then my original mortgage. After weeks of trying to reach someone at Chase, I got a HELP HOTLINE person and we confrence called my "Relationship Manager" at Chase. She told me that this is a "take it or leave it knida deal" and proceeded to HANG UP on us. Yes Chase hung up on the Help Hotline lady and myself.
Now let me explain something. I am self employed. I have children. I have a very sick wife. When we bought our house the economy was good, my CREDIT was EXCELLENT. My wife was able to work. That is not the case now. My reason for asking for help in the first place was to simply see if I could just re finance or something. We were struggling, but up until Chase told me to default we had not misssed a payment. We have not missed a Modified Trial Payment. We have made them faithfully for 15 months. This is MY HOUSE... I want to KEEP MY HOUSE...I will not allow it to be part of The Chase Collection of foreclosed homes... All I wanted was alittle help. Nothing for free, not a handout, just some assistence. Is this what we get for Chasing the American Dream? Is
