Have been trying for the last year and half to have my DEAD fathers name taken off the mortgage and line of credit accounts with Chase. I have sent all the legal documents that Chase has asked for, 3X. So just now they changed the mortgage, but have not changed the line of credit. When I question why they have not changed the name on the line of credit, the response 'have not received the documents'. Come on CHASE it has been 18+ months to make the legal name change, and you can not do it ??? Talking with customer service is a joke. If you get someone who you can understand, they have no clue.
It is so frustrating that a simple name change could be so hard to do, since all the LEGAL DOCUMENTS state the name change.

I had an outstanding ballance on my Best Buy credit card through Chase. Once I received a bill for the account, my payment was already late. I used the dial-in account services provided by Chase...and chose the "Pay by Phone" option.

The options you are provided are: pay off your statement ballance or pay another amount.

Since I was interested in paying off my account, I chose to pay off my "last" statement ballance, not realizing this was not my actual statement ballance...which included a 36.50 late fee. I concluded the transaction, thinking I had paid off my entire ballance.

I've never relaibly received statements from Chase...so I was quite surprised, two months later, to receive a bill for $73.00. One charge of 36.50 for the inital late fee and, of course, another charge of 36.50 for not paying the first late fee.

After being transferred 4 times and their phone system hanging up on me twice, I finally made it back to the same supervisor (who had already hung up on me once) and he informed me he would not remove either of the fees as my account "history" showed late payments. LOL

I would just like to say I take full responsiabilty to my banking errors howevr Chase has found a way to get whatever they can out of you. They tell you things are processed by dollar amount first in a certain catagory example Debits and Atm withdrawls before checks but I have proof that they process any way they can to get you to have more NSF fees...What they are doing should be against the law

After Chase Bank took over my mastercard, they raised my interest rate from 14.9% to 24% and then again recently to 29.9% for no apparent reason. I could no longer afford the minimum payment, let alone put anything towards the principal. I had no choice but to pay the card off. Unfortunately, I had to cash out an annuity and take a $2, 500.00 loss in order to do so. I am still receiving a bill from them for additional interest. I have been paying for their payment protector plan. This plan when activated defers any interest or monthy payment. Not only did I pay the bill in full, but I had also activated the payment protector plan. After several conversations with their rude customer service reps/supervisors/bank managers they all insisted that I owe this additional interest, however no one can explain where these charges incurred. I have written a detailed letter to send to the ceo of Chase Bank, Congress and President Obama. After reading all these other complaints, why is our government allowing this to continue? This is unethical and in my opinion, should be illegal. As individuals, this would be near impossible to stop, but as a whole, maybe we can do something about this.

I was scammed by a celebrity white teeth and they took 149.95 out of my debit account with Chase bank. I have 3 different financial instituions and check my accounts daily. I noticed a charge in pending for 149.95 with my Chase account. I contacted Chase and they said they have to wait for the charge to go through. I did everything in my power to prevent this from happening. I contacted Fraud, the Dispute department, my local branch in Ravenna, Ohio and also went into the bank.

Nobody at Chase would abide by there policy which states: ANY UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES WITH BE PUT BACK IN YOUR ACCOUNT BY THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY BECAUSE WE DONT THINK YOU SHOULD WAIT WHILE WE INVESTIGATE. I have contacted the BBB, The State Attorney General, Made a Police report, etc. etc. etc.. This money was taken out Jan. 16th and I still have yet to receive a refund.
