Victimized a second time by the bank
I used the iphone feature to cash a paycheck back in August of 2010. In Jan on 2011, I found out that someone stole the original check and cashed it at Bank of America in branch back in Nov 2010. By the way I do not have a Bank of America account. Jan 2011 Chase then debits my account for the amount of the stolen paycheck. The bank my job uses is Chase and my personal banking is also with Chase. I then file a police report stating the check had been stolen. Go to my nearest branch to try and resolve the issue. I am met with an attitude of indifference when dealing with CSR Katie Smith face to face. I am told to bring in a copy of the police report and a copy of the cashed check then they can start an investigation. So in the mean while my account is in a negative balance. I then contacted the comptroller of my company in New York and he sent a copy of the cashed check to the CSR in the Royal Palm Beach branch. I call the branch to follow up on my case and the CSR who is supposed to be handling my case is not in again. So I ask to speak with the manager since she said she has mad the manager aware of the problem. It has been nearly four hours and the manager has yet to call me back with an update of my situation. All day he has been unavailable. I offer to come to talk to the manager then. Again the CSR on the phone Alex tells me he will take my name and number and have the manager get back to me. So here I am a couple of weeks into my problem and it seems like the bank does not care. They don't care that the check was stolen, don't care that I don't have the cash equivalent to afford such a loss right now, don't care that the check was cashed more than 90 days after the day I cashed it. It seems like they only care about making me a victim for a second time. Even now I am still waiting on a phone call to resolve this. You would think that who ever deposited my stolen paycheck in Bank of America would have needed to provide an account number and some ID to do so. In a day and age of modern technology and cameras they can easily have the footage pulled from where it was cashed and see who cashed it. By doing that they would know it was not me and would prove that the person who cashed it was not given it by me. But the bank does not appear interested in justice or fairness. I feel as if I have been robbed a second time by the bank. Cause after 60 days of a negative balance the account gets closed and to collections it goes. And another negative remark added to my credit report.

cancellation of my accounts refused explanation
Received email from Chase bank telling me I was $9.9 million overdrawn.
I have never overdrawn on any of these accounts, I have recently managed to start a new business, hire 2 employees and put my best forward.

Called them, they are planning to close my accounts and seize my assets. This has happened to many other people recently. No explanation will be given by Chase bank. They reserve the right to do what then want when they want. I thought they were laws regarding banks.
Something vulgar is going on with Chase bank .

Harassment
I'm glad I found this site. I have been getting 6 - 9 calls from Chase a day, alternating between 800-848-9380 and Private Caller. I have not been late for several months however, they continue to want to know when I'm making my payment. I began answering their calls in the last couple months or so and just today handled four of their calls alone. Everytime they kept trying to talk over me because I would not confirm the name they were giving. I also told the guy to give me his phone number so I can call him ten times a day to see how he liked it but he talked over me. I asked several times for them to stop calling me and that I considered these numerous calls as harassment but they did not care and would continue to talk. Until I blew it on the last call I answered and said "Holy Moly Mother of Mary." I have no idea why I said that it was random because I normally cuzz but it was merely out of frustation and random. It worked. the guy actually stopped talking and hung up on me. I have not gotten one call from them after that. Go figure. Try it see if it works for you..

CHASE

P.O. Box 961103
Fort Worth, TX 76161-0103

Case Number 12Jan11-293
Reference Number 113774748670002
Account Number 830914479

Dear JP Morgan Banking Representative,

In reference to the statements I requested on 12-JAN-11. I am disputing all of the highlighted charges and fees to the tune of $2, 248.49. If you will notice all of these charges are via the Internet.

I am a single disabled woman of 57 years on a fixed income. I only receive $1, 300.00 per month disability payments from social security. Once again I have been victimized by the system. I do not spend my allotted funds to play games on fachasebook or order unnecessary junk on the Internet.

Yahoo canceled access to my account even to me sighting: “password compromised”. I guess it is almost like closing the barn door after the horse has been stolen, but I was unaware of the problem. When this discrepancy was brought to my attention I immediately changed me password and contacted you. On January 12, 2011 I requested that you cancel my Chase check card and send me a print out of all activity on my account beginning October 1 – thru – January 12, 2011.

In have been in and out of the hospital. Suffering with cardiac infraction, asthma, chronic back pain, and depression. Poor physical and mental impairment kept me from tending to my finances. With plenty of rest and counseling I am back and able to fight this travesty with every breath in my body.

As soon as I received the print out I reviewed it and found $2, 248.49 in bogus charges. I am officially disputing these charges and demand you redeposit my funds back into my account. I do not have money to fritter away on unnecessary incidentals.

Please contact me at your earliest convince to help me solve this matter.
You can reach me at: (313 778-0694) or 19783 Coyle * Detroit, MI 48235

Sincerely;

Ginger Fernandez

Banking Fees
Chase Bank Fees Fees Fees I am so tired of being charged fees for things that require no work and hurt no one. I have had 2 accounts at Chase Bank for about a year. One account for business and one for personal. Now because I had a business account I was not supposed to have any fees for my personal account. Recently on visiting the bank I was ask to sign a paper if I did not want the bank to clear checks or debits if I did not have funds to cover the charge. Mistakenly I thoutht it was for both accounts. WRONG!!! Can not do it for a business account. So my business account was over drafted for 2 transactions in the amount of $17.00 and $68.00 in fees. I soon found out that you are only allowed to be given one free fee per yer and on further investigation I found out I had also been being charged a $20.00 per month fee for my personal account, which they can only refund 2months worth, because I do get a statement and it is my job to find their mistakes. Which as a business woman I know it is my job, but I am still angry due to the "Bankers" Awful attitude. I remember the day when "Bankers" were respectable people. But I guess it is my generation that is responsible. We used to believe in Peace and Love, then we turned to Greed and Power. First it was Savings and Loan Scams, then Banks faking no doc loans, causing the mortgage debacle, Entel and Telecom. God help us where will this end?

customer service
I have been banking with chase bank from last 3 years and my experience with them is the worst of all, The customer service takes for ever to answer and once they answer the call, they dont pay attention to customer problem they transfer the call to diffrent branch or location .. and then it goes on ...
I deposited my pay check in last week of december and its been more than a week and still not cleared ...when i call the branch they refuse to talk to me about my own account and hang up the phone ...
All i wanted to know was why my check is not cleared .
I am going back to my old bank which i was not happy( CITI BANK ) But comparing to chase they are much better in customer service .

The last time i checked, i still have a total of USD400 plus from both my checking and saving account. Just now when i try to log in from the website but unavailable. After i called, only i know they already closed my accounts without notification and saying i still owe the bank money! i am so shock! for god's sake, is Chase bank so poor that they have to rip me off my only savings of USD400 plus???

Modification Fruad
Chase gave me a modification in January 2009, they did not up date
my statements showing the new interest rates or new monthly payments. They said it was because they were changing computer programs. It has been two years since they sent me the modification agreement. Now they are saying its not valid because they never signed the agreement on their end even though I have been making monthly modification payments for two years. I would like to file a class action lawsuit against Chase Bank. They have now sent me papers to forclose on my home.
