My husband and I were working with Chase for a loan modification. When we received paperwork to for a plan to pay back payments of 2 months (which happened because we were under the impression that we did not have to pay while the modification was in process), it was dated 2-3 weeks prior to us actually receiving the documents with a payment due that was before we even received the paperwork. We sent in a payment per the instructions and in addition to that payment we had mailed in a previous payment of 3700.00 dollars. We found out though a cancellation of a credit card that Chase had reported that our account was 120 days pass due. When we checked with Chase they indicated that they had not recieved the 3700 dollars mailed in early April and which had cleared our band April 13th. According to our records our account should be current with Chase however, we have had our credit totally destroyed because of Chase not posting payments and reporting as a default eventhough we were working with them. My husband and I had an excellent credit scorce prior to this. I am very displeased with this situation.
