Holding of monies for home stabilization
This company has been holding funds that belong to my home stabliization company, LRE, in Brooksville FL. I endorsed it and sent it back for them to endorse and return to me so I can render the funds to the appropriate party. This division (when you can get ahold of them) pretends they are investigating whether the "whole amount" goes to stablization. State Farm Agent Ron Richards in the Brooksville Office has told me he has talked to them and told them it is all for stabilization (which was finished a month ago), and I send a letter from State Farm to Chase stating that the funds of $85, 133.00 were enclosed to me for the stablization bill. They "pretend" there is an adjuster report they are missing; however, a check with State Farm will verify that there is no such report. You may contact Ron Richards at 352-592-7906 to verify this. Everything is on hold in my home for further repair because Chase has grabbed this money to gain interest which is unethical. There is no reason for them not to release this to me.

Chase Finance representative lied to me
I originally recieved a mortgage loan from another lender a year earlier who was able to clear up my $5000.00 debt and finance me for 7.5% on my home. I later wanted to refinance for more cash out and my lender wasn't able to extend this to me, so I called around and when I recieved a pre-approved refinance for Chase Home Finance, I called them. By this time, my debt had been paid, I was currently making current up to date mortgage payments and my interest and monthly payments were low, but to cash out more money and refinance I needed to change to another loan company who would do this. I spoke with Eric Walker of Chase Finance and he was able to finance me, but I needed a cosigner. I was borrowing an extra $50, 000.00, but still, in total, I hadn't borrowed that much. My son helped me and I found out that my new mortgage would be at 9.5% and my monthly payments jumped 4 times higher, but Eric claimed it was because of my credit and he gave me his word that even though my payments were high, in six months, I could refinance and my credit rating would get higher and I would then lower my monthly payments and interest by calling him back and he would do that for me, even telling me to save aside $5, 000 to 6, 000.00 to help with my monthly payments till then. Since I had called around to other institutions, this one seemed better and I thought it would work out like he stated. Now, though, it's another story. I called up Chase last week to find out that Eric Walker is no longer with the company and they can't do anything about what Eric had promised me. So, now I'm stuck with this high rate and payment for at least two years, since I found out that my self employment must have a two year history to refinance. Eric knew why I was borrowing this money and that I was going to open my own inhome childcare and he had no problem with it, but now it's another story. Since my business needs to get on it's feet which may take several more months, basically, I feel I was taken advantage of, lied to, and Chase will do nothing to rectify this situation. They need to be responsible for their employees and stand by what I was told.

Property Tax Refund
On January 2, 2008, I wrote a personal check for $3200.47 to the Denton County Tax Assessor-Collector for the 2007 property taxes on my town home at 266 Legends Dr in Lewisville TX 75057. The Denton county property tax account number for this property is R0268346. This payment should not have been submitted, as my mortgage includes an escrow account which accrues for the property taxes. After receiving my quarterly mortgage loan statement from Chase Home Finance dated December 31, 2007, I realized my error and contacted the Denton County Tax Assessor-Collector's office to request resolution. They informed me that only the mortgage company could issue a refund as they would receive the refund check in the event of a double payment. At that point I contacted Chase to request a refund which was submitted with customer service. Their original advice was to check back in 3 weeks, which I did. Their response at that time was 30 - 60 days. After contacting Chase again on March 5, 2008, and e-mail was sent to Steve Mossman, RTA (Denton County Tax Assessor/Collector) to which he replied, "Mr. Wright, Re: Property Tax Account R0268346 The refund check was mailed about February 18. It is Denton County Tax Office Check # 126372 payable to Chase Home Finance." This information was faxed to 817-699-1408 attn: Andrea with Chase Home Finance LLC for submission to the research department on March 21, 2008. I contacted the Chase tax department on March 31, 2008 to request a status update, no new information was available. I requested to be called by a supervisor which is to occur between 24 and 72 hours and also informed them that I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. After 72 hours, still no call from them. So I called back and they claimed that they still hadn't received the check from the tax office.

Crooked business practices
I have been <unsuccessfully> trying to get incorrect charges on my escrow account changed AND to have a final loss draft amount of over $17, 000 returned to me for about 7 months. The result has been hours of chasing my account by phone, hundreds of dollars in fees, and now I'm not even sure how much money has been paid correctly out to escrow. The level of incompetence is so well orchestrated in the name of "Customer Care" I won't begin to elaborate... just to say every aspect of mishandling, misinformation and LIES, and harassment has been covered in such a way that I don't think it could be random. Reading similar complaints here with the same them substantiates my issues too.

All of my dealings with Chase have occurred since my house was wrecked by Hurricane Katrina and at this point trying to work with Chase has been a greater hardship, heartache, and a pain in the rear. Maybe it's about time for someone to bail out this bank too.

Holding mortgage payments!
Chase padded my escrow way too high. They sent me a high mortgage with new escrow. I could not pay it, but I sent in the minimum amount I usually pay on time! They are holding it and charged me a $59 late fee because I did not "pay my mortgage". Why are they allowed to continue with this rip-off of decent, law abiding citizens? I did pay and on time, just not the excessive amount they asked for (over $400 extra).

Forced escrow due to chaise's mistake!
In January of 2007, we had county water available to our small community. We decided to hook up with the county, as our well water was not to our satisfaction. We live in a very rural area in NC, and our water department decided to have us make our payments to the tax office. It is called a water assessment fee. Your basic hook up fee. The county gave us a year to pay interest free. We started making payments. I believe we had paid $200 -$300 of the &1200 or so that was due. In January of 2013 it was to be considered delinquent. All of my neighbors, myself included, received letters from their mortgage companies. CHASE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES TO PAY THIS water assessment fee. Chase misread this as a very past due tax,and paid it in July of 2007. They then forced us into escrow. My husband had a credit score of 917,which I am told is unheard of. I had a credit score of 750 which is just ok. It still shows we both pay what we owe.Our house payment has gone from $472.91 to $742 .I have been with Chase since 2000 and have only been late one time. Chase has gone on to pay other things that were not due,and have really punched the fees to me and my husband. We are not rich, and Chase refuses to back down from their position. They called my local tax office and asked them if the money was not owed the day the water lines were installed, of course it was and now I am out of my money. I have paid all my fees. I am even 2 months ahead on my payments. I am trying to refinance. The customer service tells me a different story every time I call. One person told me I had to speak to the escrow department and the escrow department was closed for the day. I was told to call at a later time. I called the next day to pay the ESCROW DEPARTMENT AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOT AN ESCROW DEPARTMENT. What do I need to do to get this over with? I have cried, prayed, begged and still to no avail. They still get to screw me over and look as though they have done no wrong.

Various extra charges!
Chase Home finance has done everything in their power to add extra charges to my Payments every month! They have added every thing from late charges to late charges fees to processing fees. Plus they would only give me a variable rate loan that adjusted months before they notified me, resulting in foreclosure proceedings. It's like they have no rules to follow. My interest rate is at 10.5 and it started at 7.5. They have never dropped it yet! When I took the loan out, I specifically asked for Disability Insurance, in case I was hurt. A time came when I needed it and Chase tells me that they don't offer such insurance. Over a year later, I called their insurance handler and Disability Insurance is one of their computerized phone options.

Scam and cheating!
We have been receiving act91 letters for about5 yrs.they amended 2 errors 1 for escrow and 1 for home insurance, we pay all taxes separate and insurance too. Now there saying we have 3or 4 months late payments, we've gone to credit counselor with proof of payments, to no avail, each act 91 letter are for different months and different amounts. We've faxed bank statements and it still is not resolved and it is getting costly we've had 3 lawyers and they did responded with its being investigated that was 2 yrs. ago, a new yr and were still going thru this bs!

NO HELP NO ANSWER EITHER
Chase took over our motgage 2 1/2 years ago...our interest rate soared to 9.875% in June...we have been struggling to make the payment of almost $2100!!!! In June we asked Chase Home Finance for help in reducing this rate...we sent them all of records of our income/bills/ asking for hardship relief through their mitigation dept. It is now Nov 13...we have never heard back, after contacting them through fax, mail and phone calls...never once did they reply. We even asked the Atty General of the State of Illinois for help. They contacted Chase on our behalf, but have received no answer one way or another. Kudos to Chase...they can't wait for us to default and loose our home...I am also a disabled American and my husband was forced to retire in Jan of this year...we struggle every month, and do without necessities like food, medicine so we don't fall behind with them...now we have a home for sale, and with the market the way it is now, there is little hope we can save ourselves from doom...thanks again, CHASE...for nothing.

BS charges!
I have been a Customer of Chase Home Finance for 3 years now. They Purchased my loan from New Century Mortgage after my 1st year in my home. Every payment I have sent in has been mailed 2 weeks before they were due, and every one has been held 20+ days before they even attempt to deposit them. This has made every payment LATE, so they can charge more interest and more late fees. THIS IS NOT FAIR!! It's not my fault they can't process my payments on time. Today I received a FORECLOSURE LETTER!! And I also received my check dated 8-25-2007 for my September payment that they held until 10-22-2007. Are these people Crazy?? I have been given over 11 phone numbers to use to contact people that only have Voice-Mail, and NEVER return my calls. Not even the Foreclosure Department has returned my calls. I guess they need a write-off or something, maybe that's why they are determined to take this house back. Anyone with information on Chase Home Finance please contact me @ JonathanCopeland AT msn.com.

I am starting a Class-Action Lawsuit starting TODAY!! ANYONE interested in being added please send me an email and I will forward the information on how you can contact the Attorney whom has TAKEN THE CASE.

Damage Resulting.

This has ruined my credit due to them not posting my payments as they should, and I have had to Stop-Payment on my last 2 house payments because they are still floating around somewhere. They say they have not been received. They want me to pay it over the phone, except now they want all past-due payments "That they have screwed up" plus another $1500 in attorney fees, plus another $1700 in more BS Charges.
