applied for a loan Modification in Feb 2009 with Chase. Was told No I didnt qualifiy because my debts were to high. But call back in 30days and lower your bills then you will get a loan modification. I lower my bills called back, a month later. They told me yes you qualifiy for a loan modification sent me papers to sign and send back with certified funds of 1907.00 I reg payment was $2200. This was to be for only 3 months then was to be permant. We it went on until Feb 2010 with me calling every month to find out where my final papers were. Was told Chase was changing systems in Sept in Nov was told it will be my Christmas present from Chase. Then In feb 2010 I was told sorry you never were on a loan modification and we want our money NOW or were coming for the house. Well I said come get it and all the *** snow to. Within 2 days Chase was calling me and offering me a loan Mod again. They called me 4 times in one day to offer me a loan mod with different amounts from 1947 to 1500 when I finally got paper work 45 days later to sign again it was for $2011. Which I have been paying by western union costing me a xtra $23 a month to send to them every month. Since I have been paying the $2011 I have recieved every month paper work to fill out and send back letting me know that I can have a loan mod. I havent sent any back. I refuse to. Since I started this back in 2009 and jumped through all there hoops for a year I refuse to jump NO MORE. I have wrote Fannie Mae I wrote the Banking Commission No one will Help. The President wonders why the housing market wont get better well maybe he needs to stop and be a consumer and see what we are going through with theses banks. Were not the rich guys were the working people. Only Debt I have is a car payement and my house. I didnt refinaces when everyone did. I think Chase needs to stop playing games and start looking at who the we are as people and what they put use through.
