harassment
After approving the loan modification, the bank start calling and sending me an harassing call, sending people to take the picture of my house. When I call them back they keep telling me we are sorry it takes about two months to update the modification and just ignore the letters and phone calls. I waited three months nothing happens, then I start paying the new promised amount and the harassing letters and
people coming to my house keep growing. I was scared and I call them back, this time the customer service rep. told me your house is going for foreclosure . I went to my county and ask for help. From the county a very helpful officer called and ask for the manager after so many minutes they contact him with the secretary and ask her as what is going on. After checking and reading notes, she said he have been contacting us many times and even he start paying I apologize I will make sure my boss to see this and call you back. She took his phone and
name. Sure enough a person with high authority call him back after five days and said I will investigate the matter and I know someone from our end has drop the ball. Give me one month. A month passed nothing happened except the harassing calls and letters. Last week after six month the bank mail me the signed and notary sealed copy by mail. I thought now everything is ok and start payment . But a customer service rep called me and said your home is going to be foreclosed, you don't deserve to sit in a half million home ...and hang up. Today I BELIEVE THE SAME GUY CALLED BACK AND HARASSED MY WIFE. iS THERE ANY HELP. i HAVE HEARD A LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT CHASE. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS.

Home Refinance
I received a letter from Chase, so I called the number. I ended up speaking with Kathryn R Daigneault (a mortgage consultant - a sales woman). She convinced me to refinance and had me give her my credit card number to apply. The same day, I was charged $750.00 on my credit card. When I discovered that the information was not the same as the flyer I received, and I just did refinance last year, I called to cancel the application. I spoke to Kathryn and her supervisor Angie, both saying I could not change my mind and $750 was non-refundable. Then called numerous times and left messages, never heard back. I think that this is a bait. I am a Chase customer, that makes this worse.

Fraud and scam
We have spent the last few months dealing with the same issue: Chase shows us as being behind on a payment, despite the fact that they have read through the payments with me over the phone and they are all there! We have faxed proof of payment, I have had at least three separate 'customer care' representatives tell me that they can't find a problem, but I continue to get statements claiming we are behind. I have left 6 messages with a supervisor (no one ever answers that line) and have not gotten a single call back! To top it off, I've had to go through a 45 minute rehash EVERY SINGLE TIME I've called in!
At this point, we have decided to involve our lawyer. I cannot believe the nerve of this company and its 'supervisors.'

Homeowners insurance fraud
We purchased our house in 2002. Our loan has been moved to several different mortgage companies (not at our request). In September 2007 Chase took over our mortgage. In January we received a letter from Chase saying that they had provided home owner insurance for us and the rate was $743.00. I called them because we have home owners insurance since day one with Farmers at $450.00 per year. They said they acquired our loan from another institution and was unable to confirm home owners insurance. Funny, they knew how to auto pay the loan each month which includes Principal, interest, taxes and INSURANCE. plus we make a extra principal payment on top of it. Why didn't they send a letter in September asking for a copy of our insurance policy. Now I receive a letter that our escrow account is SHORT $721.80 so they will be increasing our monthly payments. I called once I received the letter in January about the $743.00. We had a three way call with my Farmer's agent who confirmed we have had NO lapse in coverage and Chase said they would reverse the $743.00 charge. It is JULY and now they want me to make up the shortage THEY created in our escrow account.

Chase home mortgage cripples the credit of military families
I am an active duty member of the Marines and an Iraq War vet. I moved Duty Stations from Virginia to Mass last summer and my wife and I sold our condo at a loss, so that we could complete our military move and have our first child closer to family. The loss although difficult was the right move for us in the current market and we were determined not to file for Chapt. 11 or enter foreclosure. I sold my home and closed my loan with chase on 31 May 2007. I have all closing documents to support this. Chase continued to send me bills and has reported me delinquent with two of three consumer credit reporting agencies, plummeting my credit and sending my family into financial peril. Angela Shelton at Chase has been telling me for months that this would be fixed. It is now January 15th 2008, we cannot get pre-approved for a new mortgage, apply for student loans for my Masters degree and our baby is due in 8 days. Chase Home Mortgage by their negligence and inaccurate reporting of my account history is financially ruining my family.
