Unauthorized billing
My husband is trying to say that these aren't his credit they are we Divorce and all the credit cards are his with my permission to use them before he left the home. His full is Terry L Bennett and I will provide the social security number if needed they all was forward to another after he left the home and I did contact about these matter that he cancel them so he needed to pay all of them for non-payment. He had them stop while they were been paid, or you may contact at this number

Bad service
I am an active duty member of the Marines and an Iraq War vet. I moved Duty Stations from Virginia to Mass last summer and my wife and I sold our condo at a loss, so that we could complete our military move and have our first child closer to family. The loss although difficult was the right move for us in the current market and we were determined not to file for Chapt. 11 or enter foreclosure. I sold my home and closed my loan with chase on 31 May 2007. I have all closing documents to support this. Chase continued to send me bills and has reported me delinquent with two of three consumer credit reporting agencies, plummeting my credit and sending my family into financial peril. Angela Shelton at Chase has been telling me for months that this would be fixed. It is now January 15th 2008, we cannot get pre-approved for a new mortgage, apply for student loans for my Masters degree and our baby is due in 8 days. Chase Home Mortgage by their negligence and inaccurate reporting of my account history is financially ruining my family.

The worse experience with Chase
Is the worse experience. I will never refinance with Chase anymore. Chase did not pay the money the pay off balance and Chase officer lie to me saying that everything is going to be O.K. I don't want to speak with nobody else from Chase, I don't trust Chase anymore, they supposed to pay amount for the Canceled Extended Warranty and the Gap and then Sovereign Bank supposed to received the money, but still after more than three months Chase did not do nothing, absolutely nothing, just receiving my monthly payment.

I honestly want to change to another Bank but I just refinance on February, So I can't do it. But I am not happy with the service, with the work. Chase did not work on time because they don't care. It is a very, very bad experience for me. I don't want to hear about Chase no more in my life. Is terrible, terrible bad what they did with me.

They do not like black people
Chase does not like Black people. They were involved in Slavery, and they said that they would pay reparations. I don't know about you, but I want mine. Chase preys on Black people, well also Hispanic. They think you're really crazy. They can do horrible things to you. I don't see why the government can't stop them. Do You? These people are so corrupt and they just smile and lie right in your face. They focus on people that have equity in their homes and they will just come take it if you let them. Devilsl...

Very horrendous customer services
No April fool's day joke. Very horrendous customer services. The 2 women I spoke to were aggressively rude, wouldn't let me talk and then said I was wrong. *They* kept saying, you aren't letting me talk. They would jump right in before I could explain what I was seeing on my bill and telling me the dates listed on my bill weren't the actual dates. Whatever.

Basically, I sent in a credit card payment (always paid in full and on time) and it appears they tried to put it through on a Sunday, when my credit union is closed. They then charged me a $39 fee for returned payment on the same day they put the check through again and received full payment. This all happened about a week before the payment was actually due.
When I called to find out about it, I was talked to snidely, condescendingly and laughed at. They said they would put me on hold but basically put me on mute and left me there for several minutes. I was talking with my husband about what our credit union account said and the CS person tried to take that info and use it against me. Thing is, the credit union never lists a bounced check or charges us a fee for a bounced check nor did they contact us about a bounced check. All of which they do. We've had it happen before when they've had to take money out of our savings to cover the checking.

I did, finally, get that $39 fee waived. But I worked hard to get that fee removed and was upset and had knots in my stomach by the time I was done. Why couldn't they have just done it when I first called instead of treating me so poorly?
I hung up and called back immediately asking to speak with a supervisor (I did not get one the first time around) and closed the account. She ridiculously said that if I were to re-open the account at a later time it would be based on my credit at the time. I laughed and said that I will NEVER deal with Chase in any circumstances. From reading complaints out here, seems their auto and home financial services are staffed by the same inept pool of hired workers. I wonder if they get points and a bonus based on those points for how rudely they are to people. Amazing. Maybe there is a class, How to Be Rude, 101.

I am actually afraid to deal with them after reading the complaints out here. And I will monitor my credit score (which is excellent) to make sure they don't mess with it.

I've dealt with several other credit card companies in the past and have never been treated so poorly. I also have a Bank of America card which was a back up card and will solely use that one from now on. You should only have one credit card anyway. Easier to keep track of.

Now, in a couple of months, I will request my free credit report to double check they weren't completely evil. I just can't trust my hard earned, excellent credit record to be ruined by people who can't even be nice. If my home mortgage ever gets transferred to them, I will immediately refinance. I can't imagine having to deal with this low level of service on something as important as my house!

Raising of interest rate!
All this began not long after Chase Bank bought First USA bank card. We had First USA for 15 years. ALWAYS RATED 1. Sometimes we ran it up when we were doing rehabs (buying old fixer uppers) and turning them over. We had at the time a 51,000 credit line on one card and a 30,000 credit line on the other a 15,800 Discover card available credit line And a 15,000 Capitol one line. At the time we were just finishing up a job and were using Discover because of 5% cash back and we were at about the limit on only one card, Discover our balance on first USA was 21,000 on one and about 8,000 on the other I had gone to Intercity lumber to buy cedar for the screened porch and when I gave them the first USA card, it was declined... I used the other first USA and it was declined as well and boy was I floored!. After I got home I called First USA who told me they were now Chase. I said ok so what gives with the decline. They then proceeded to tell us that they had sent us a letter informing us that since we were at the limit of Discover, we were a poor credit risk. Now understand that just 9 month earlier we had paid off both of the First USA balances WITH A 50,000 PAYMENT and we were at ZERO. They had reduced our available credit line and destroyed our beacon score and that as a result of the discover card they felt it necessary to raise our interest level to 29.90 percent after we had had 8.99... this change our monthly payment from about 400 a month on one and 300 a month on the other to 3200 per month on both. We couldn’t keep up and we couldn’t surf the card because our beacon score was toast! But we did get the house finished finally and paid them off. And since have not fallen behind on anything! With reference to the home mortgage please see accompanying paperwork for explanation.

Scam and theft!
These people are a bunch of idiots. I got a problem in one check I went to chase to pay cash. It was my mortgage payment. He said "I can't receive it. I cannot collect the cash." He said I had to buy a check and send it through the mail. And I know the mail service takes a week to get there when it was due the next day. Why don't they collect the cash when we went to go pay at there own bank!!!

800-684-8429
I have been receiving phone calls from this number continously for several weeks now. Caller ID says Chase but location unknown. They never leave messages just continue to call at least 12 times a day, sometimes more often. It is beyond me who and why they are calling. How do I stop them from calling? I have no credit accounts with Chase nor does any one else in my household. I am on the do not call list.
