The Company Cheap Trips call me on 8/2009 offering life time membership along with 4-Complimentary coach round trip air fare ticket to Orlando, Cancun, Hawaii, or San Diego, with the purchase of qualifying hotel. I paid $119.00 for life time membership with cheap trips, they offered in return four complimentary round trip coach class airfares to four state locations, Orlando, Cancun, Hawaii, or San Diego with the purchase of qualifying hotel accommodations. Well I found out that the booking was not a hotel but a resort which would be more expensive. I was then told by Ed at cheap trips to mail in my Travel Redemption request form so I did on 4/11/2010. After a month pass no respond from the mailed in request form, I contacted cheap trips spoke to Ed again, was given web site choosemyresort.com. there I was to choose from several resorts listed, which Celebration World Resort had a condo available. I selected and checked my booking request date. The condo I choosed could occupied four people. After booking never return my call I call Celebration Resort direct found out no reservation was reserved. I contacted Ed back again was directed to another web site called excitingvacationfor.com there you pay the 25.00 processing fee to redeem the certificate redemption. I went on the site paid my $25.00 dollars, down futher in the reading was the conditions to redeem certificate. which I read later after submitting payment .The nformation read (This certificate is redeemable for reservation form offering 4- free airfare with the purchase of 7-nights of Resort accommodations at one of thousands of resorts. At the time of booking your reservations, a US $75 for travel in the contiquous 48 states per night per person. Now that equals to 75per person x 4-people a day is 300.00 per day x 7-days =2, 100.00 for one week use of the Resort. This is how they get you, if you call the Resort direct their fees are much lower per day which can cover up to 6-people in the unit depending on the size of unit needed. Now who in their right mind would pay 2, 100.00 in Resort fees, for 4-complimentary Air Fare tickets, when you can buy your own Air Fare for 2, 1000.00? The collecting travel service for payment for the condo is Incentive Travel Plus #866-963-2199. They are really the one offering 4-complimentary tickest, but Cheap trips is aware of all these fees even before you contact them. All these below or connected with Cheap Trips s a SCAM!!! Cheap Trips, INC. Choose my resort, and Incentive Travel Plus. Please don’t get caught up in this Scam, you can't get your money back. Instead Contact the Federal Trade Commission in Washington to file a complaint their number is 1-877-382-4357.Please!!! or contact their Better Business Bureau . Cheap Trips Now have 290 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. If you do this and file enough complaint they will investigate and shut them down.
