Unreliable and i do not RECOMMEND
I had booked TWO tickets from Little Rock, AR to Burbank, CA to visit my mother for her big 40 (January 26-30) as a surprise but to my surprise after I received a confirmation email telling my dates I supposedly chosen (January 30- February 30).
I called to try to fix the error because before I submitted I double checked the dates and I knew what dates I had asked for. After being on hold for two hours I got a hold of someone. When I tried to talk to someone they said I would have to wait and talk to a representative during their office hours on Monday.
When Monday, came I called the number given and it was a phony number. After I called the original number again they claimed to not know what was going on. After I reexplained my situation they told me I couldn't change my flight without having to pay for more tickets and not reimburse me for my original amount since it had been more than 24 hours since my confirmed email.
I had argued for hours talking to three different people. There was a strong language barrier too. Even though they spoke English, they acted dumb and said they didn't understand what I was trying to tell them. After having (and I hate to admit it) my dad talk to them in Hindi. He was just as upset as I was since he was there watching me on the phone the whole time.
They finally reimbursed me for ONE ticket but charged me for TWO more (plus all these small "fee" amounts for a few dollars here and there). So I then called my credit card company to tell them my situation and to not accept charges from them. Then I called CheapOair again to go through the same processes.
In the end. I didn't go to my mother's 40th and I was charged for 4 tickets minus the 1 they took off plus some random off the wall charges I had never received from any other reputable company.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. I TRIED TO GET THE WEBSITE SHUT DOWN BUT THE BETTER BUSINESS SAID THEY WERE OUT OF THEIR JURISDICTION TO DO ANYTHING. SO AS A FELLOW CONSUMER JUST BE CAREFUL AND DON'T JUST PICK THE CHEAPEST TICKET. LOOK AROUND FOR REVIEWS OF THE PLACE.

Turns me around
I was not happy with my trip, but was very happy when I flew home and there was a Cheapoair agent called to see how my trip was.
I told them all the problems I had and they immediately made amends and tried to resolve my problem. Most companies just take your money and don't care what happens after that. I have to say Cheapoair seems to care enough to call their clients even though they're already paid just to make sure everything went well.
I was shocked they called just to make sure all went well, its only this reason that they really turned me around and made me a customer for life.

Ripped me off and stole $1500
I was supposed to fly from STL to ATH Greece in July 2010 but the riots made us cancel our trip. Cheap o Air said it wouldn't be a problem as long as we rescheduled within a year of our purchase date. Needless to say but they still have my $ and I have no trip! My friend purchased the same trip through travelocity and had no problems re-scheduling. Cheap-o-Air at first claimed I could only travel from STL to ATH; then changed their mind later on that it would be okay to go from DEN to Florence with a $500 added cost. NO thank you. I am not giving them any more money. They claim the ticket is more expensive. Too bad the ticket is actually cheaper and they are lying!

Don't book with them
You get what you pay for. I booked two people to Europe with a quoted price that turned out to double when booked. When I immediately tried to cancel I was told their would be a $40 fee to COA and $100 ($50/person) to the airline. We are talking cancelling within an hour of booking. I have cancelled with other services and received a full refund if cancelled shortly after booking. Stay away from these folks and their outsourced customer support. As I said, you get what you pay for and these folks are not interested in customer service.

Cheapoair might be cheap but has the worst customer service!!! Because of that I wont fly with them. I would rather spend an extra $100 an fly with someone that acutally wants to help. And TRUST ME, the travel insurance doesnt help. So save your money

Buyer beware
Flying from Pheonix to San Jose, Costa Rica. Purchased tickets from Cheapoair. Tickets never confirmed with US Airway by Cheapoair. Lost flight to Costa Rica, $2500.00 out to Cheopoair and three hours on hold to India. No telephone numbers provided in the US. Still no resolution and out the money and time. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Cheapoair pays $3.00 per ticket to US Airways but does not confirm the existance of the tickets being sold or oversold by US Airway. They issue you a E-ticket but has know value until you have a confirmation number by US Airways. Cheapoair's confirmation number has no value to US Airways and can't not be used in any form to obtain information or varification of a purchase with US Airways. Bad deal bad company bad comunications bad customer service.

Deceived me in charges
The booking for my car rental was cancelled the same day it was reserved because the rep that I booked the reservation told me they would only take $25.00 out of my account for the reservation that day. When I looked in my account, $35.00 was actually taken out which over drew my account! Since then I got a $36.00 insufficient fund fee and have been accruing $6.00/ day overdraft fee’s since October 4th. All of this because your rep was dishonest. Whether she meant it or not, it has really set me back. GO back and listen to the conversation if you don’t believe me! This refund is taking entirely too long to process. The person that granted me the refund told me it would only take 3-5 business days! Another LIE told by your reps. Everyone there should be on the same page. Needless to say I am very upset about this entire transaction. They even flew me into the wrong airport in my otherreservation. I have nothing positive to say about this booking company and I will be writing reviews every chance I get on ‘ cheapoair.com’. I am requesting that my refund of $35.00 be processed immediately! It’s funny to me how they can take it out instantly, but take two weeks to put it back. PLEASE PROCESS THIS ASAP! I will be calling EVERYDAY until I get some type of results. Overall, I givecheapoair a 1 on a scale of 1-10 and everyone I know will be aware of what I went through. NEVER plan on using your company EVER again

Refund
I made a reservation for my Mom to fly out in the month on June, 2010. Owing to a death in the family, that reservation had to be canceled. The Cheapoair agent said we stand to get a full refund of $1400 minus a cancellation fee of $192, provided we provided a death certificate. Following that conversation, the documents were immediately submitted. Cheapoair said it would take 8-12 weeks to get the refund. This was sometime in the month of Sept during which I never got any refund. Since the end of the 12 week cycle, i have been calling Cheapoair to only hear them say we are waiting on Lufthansa to get back. I have even called Lufthansa and they say they have no record of this issue, as the travel agent is not following up with the claim. I have received the worst possible service, with agents hanging up on me, randomly placing me on hold and transferring me between the same departments over and over again. This has been so very stressful and I am quite helpless at this stage. Caution to everyone out there using this travel agent. God forbid you are faced with a situation like I have, it will only haunt you and at this point I do not know if I am going to get my money back.

cancellation charge scam
Company Phone

Incident
Buying air tickets. Final total price displayed - about $1660. I checked "accept terms and conditions" and "proceed". Suddenly new screen appears stating "this fare not available" and a new price, about $1690. Three options given - Accept, Cancel, or change. Cancel button is inoperable unless you check a box authorizing $25 per ticket in fees to be charged to your credit card. I groaned and just accepted the higher price. My bank declined the payment, but not before a $20 "travel assist" fee had been processed under a different company name, not "CheapoAir". My Bank Visa center was unable to specify why a security hold was placed when the attempt was made to charge the larger amount.
Damage Resulting
Waste of time, now and when I have to try to have Visa nullify the $20 when it appears on my statement. Ongoing risk that CheapoAir will try to use my credit card information.

Took my money and could not get me back to Dallas
Normally I check out a service on the internet to see if it is legit. I didn’t check cheapoair—wish I had.
I unfortunately bought two round trip tickets from Cheapoair for Thanksgiving 2010 from Dallas to Pittsburgh for about 747.60. They sent me about four e-mails asking me to tell them the best time and phone number to contact me because there had been a rescheduling. I responded every time, but they never called me.
I started calling them. I was told there was a problem getting me from Milwaukee to Dallas on the way back. The operator gave me a lame excuse and said she would get back with me. She didn’t. I called again and gave my reservation number. She said there was a booking error and was transferring me to another department. They hung up.
I called again, was on hold about 40 minutes and then got a busy signal. My guess is they have the software rigged so they can flag a problem customer calling from a certain phone number, put them on hold and eventually disconnect.
So I started calling on my cell, which had a different number. Got through. The lady hung up on me the minute I gave her my reservation number. Guess she read about a warning notice written in the database from a previous operator.
I called from a third cell and started pushing buttons until I got a person. Told them I was retired and on disability and my mother was very sick and this might be the last chance I had to see her and I had no money left for new tickets. He said he would get back to me and he didn’t.
I contested this bogus scam charge from Cheapoair to my VISA and got my money back.
Never use Cheapoair!
