And don't apologize. My conversation with your employee was on November 9th, 2010 about how unfair your website is set up. You had led me to believe and enter ALL my information for a flight that wasn't even available, and when I contacted your site, I was told this happens when the flights fill up very quickly at the same time, only to find out, your site had the same exact offers up for 2 more days. Today is November 18th, 2010 and I am receiving an email from your company now?

I was called by your employee, Blake a few hours later. He said he would get back to me within 24 hours with an answer for me and to help me. No one from your website EVER got back with me. I was treated very poorly from your company and will never use your site again, nor will I ever refer anyone to your site for any type of business your company has to offer. Aside from this, I am going to tell anyone who will listen about how I was treated by your company and all the information I am sending you right now in this email. I want your company to cease and desist any and all contact with me from today on.

extra hidden fees
I've booked my tickets through cheapoair and needed to change my flight date and they have given me a additional charge of $345.00 US which was penalty, difference in fare and fees. When I checked with my actual airlines which was emirates they've told me the penalty charges for my changes should only be $139 instead. I was annoyed and tried to solve this issue with cheapoair agency and they were rude and then put me on hold and then pretended that they couldn't hear me on the phone. I feel that this agency has taken advantage of me and everything was handled unfairly.

They do not honor their contract and they do not have the cheaper airfare
Disappointed customer - I am trying to find the best possible way to help people not to buy airline tickets through Cheap O Air. They do not honor their contract and they do not have the cheaper airfare. They do not post bad reviews when they received them. They will put you on hold for an inordinate amount of time when you have a complain. Overall, very poor services.

Inflaated prices: deceptive/unethical business practices

Although I've never had the misfortune to get sucked in by them, I was warned by a friend who worked for them...1ST HAND EXPERIENCE

Their scam is to get you to CALL IN and make your airline reservations via phone. If you call in, you will be subject, or rather prey is a better word, to one of their numerous "sales associates" who WORK ON COMMISSION. My friend told me they saw add on prices and fees that in some cases equaled the ticket price...essentially DOUBLING THE CUSTOMER PRICE.

The company has 3 offices, the largest and worst offender to the consumer being INDIA (shocking I know lol)

Their biggest victims are those who are the least techno savvy, and most trusting, the elderly. IF YOU'RE COMPUTER ILLITERATE, ASK A FRIEND OR RELATIVE FOR HELP. DO NOT CALL CHEAPOAIR, unless you just have extra $$ to give away.

Avoid at All Costs
We booked a trip from Newark, NJ to China via cheapo. Prices were good, but when we arrived for our 8:30 am departure at Newark we were told that we had missed our 6:30 flight. Cheapo had CHANGED the flight on us WITHOUT notice! Fortunately we were able to re-book thanks to Air Canada. However, for the rest of the trip we couldn't check in for our flights online with the carrier. They, even by phone, kept telling us that we had to go through Cheapoair.com. Thus we couldn't confirm flights or seat assignments. Lastly, cheapo managed to put us down for vegetarian, Muslim meals on the flights, which on a packed plane can be a real problem, since we are neither vegetarian nor Muslim.
When we tried to go through cheapoair.com to confirm seats/flight/meal changes, no one ever answered their phones, it was interminable hold.
I can't advise against using this site enough.

This is the worst service I've ever used to buy tickets in my life. I found a good rate, and after I confirmed and paid for it, it showed me a different date than what I reserved. I immediately called customer service, was on hold for 22 minutes before an agent came on the phone. I explained the situation to the agent who informed me that the only way I could change the ticket is by canceling, and being charged a 50.00 penalty. I further explained that it wasn't my fault, and further explained that she would have to charge me 100.00 to change the date. I first said that was fine, until she said the same dates were available for double the price. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold for another 35 minutes, finally spoke to the supervisor who told me he was going to check on something and I was then put on hold for another 15 minutes. He came back and said he could give me the ticket without the charges aforementioned, but for a different date than what I wanted. I explained that this was unnaceptable. He then put me on old again for 17 minutes to check something. He then came back and said that the price was going to be 95.00 more than what the website said for the dates I wanted. In addition, his English wasn't fluent and I could not understand most of what he was saying. He was rude when I asked him to repeat what he had said. I am so unhappy and would not recommend this website to anyone. In addition, I plan to publish this information on all review websites.

Never using this agency again
I have been on hold for 43 min and waiting for customer service... briefly answered by staff, now back on hold. Writing this review while I wait. I hate cheapo air. Never using this agency again.

Departure flight airline did not have my booking, but the return airline did
I booked a trip without checking them out first. The departure flight was never booked, although on emailed itinerary. Departure flight airline did not have my booking, but the return airline did. I cancelled my credit card immediately--good thing because three days later, I still had no departing flight! And one day later Cheapoair emailed me: "because of technical difficulties, we have to charge $100 extra." You cannot reach this people EVER. You are cut off even after someone from India forwards your call. I got a message on cell from Cheapoair about "my credit card company declining the charge" but when I repeatedly called the number they left, I was always disconnected. Today, 4 days later, I got an email telling me they canceled my flight. If I had not cancelled my card, I would have been booked $100 extra, and not had a departure flight. And if I ever got through to them, would no doubt paid more money for the rebooking of the outbound flight. They are based in NYC.

Bought a plane ticket and later needed to change date forward so i called cheapoair and was told basically screw u it would cost almost double to do that. this company is a rip off and noone should ever do business with them i know i wont.

When I called to complain, the customer rep actually hung up on me
Ok so I book a 6 hour Intl flight for two, and request that one ticket be a window seat . So, when I go to confirm and check in, they have my wife and I both in middle seats and in different parts of the plane! Ohh and there are no seats together available to change.

When I called to complain, the customer rep actually hung up on me. I finally got his boss on the line who told me he could not do anything. No seat change, no money back, no future discount... NOTHING!!! He actually said I should have asked if I wanted the seats together when I bought them. So now it's off to the airport where I can only hope that Continental can help fix CheapOAir's mistake.

Terrible customer service, terrible company. Never again.
