I closed my Citizens free senior checking account at this bank in person with an officer Meisha D'Aguilar at the local branch here on Dewey Ave Rochester.Tel.18002299999 on the last business day december '08.
Even though I had taken care all my automatic payments were transferred to my other checking account withanother bank around the corner, this officer at the bank advised me anyway to wait with the closing. I hesitated. Took her advice. Now today I went again in person to close the Citizens checking account as I was advised by Meisha after the waiting for a day or two. Even though Soc.Sec. had already convinced me about the deposit change in time.
And told me that the social security was deposited to my other bank's account.
In the meantime I was charged today by a fraudulent company for the amount of 30.37 AD&D which causes me to write them about also. In order to be reimbursed by them.
I wanted to pay the amount but Meisha said call that number en tell them to reimburse you. NOW A FULL DAY HAS PASSED AND WHEN I HAD GONE HOME TO CALL THAT AD&D CHARGING COMPANY ...THE CITIZENSBANK HAD CLOSED THE LOBBY AT 4 PM. Ha Ha thinks? Meisha?
30 overdraft in mypocket? Would she really be so mean or stupid?She could have lat me make the call from the bank.
I DON'T KNOW HOW BIG CITIZENS IS AND ALL THE POWER INVOLVED. I'M SURE THIRTY DOLLARS WOULD'NT PUT IT IN THE POVERTY LANE BUT IT DOES ME. YOU HEAR? POVERTY.
