Chemistry.com is a scam. It’s apparent that they are filtering and blocking all the e-mails. All the e-mails go through the website. When you get a notification on your regular e-mail you cannot respond to it. It’s apparent that they don’t want someone to “hookup” right off the bat. They want to string you along so they can get you to sign (pay) up again. It's all about the money.

They completely suck! I signed up on 7-17-10 and my account was disabled on 7-18-10 for no reason I could figure out. I sat on hold for 27 minutes and when I finally got someone on the phone, she said she could activate my account and that the reasons would be in an email that would be sent to me. When I got the email it said they terminated my account for reasons they couldn't tell me and that it was in the best interest of the member community!!??!! I was really hurt and confused because all I did was respond to the matches they sent me and I used their canned responses! I didn't even email any of the gentlemen because I did not want to proceed that quickly. These people are nut jobs and I can only hope that I get my money back!!!

I just joined Chemistry this past month. I noticed that I was not receiving responses with the matches I was sent. This I found peculiar since I am very attractive with a great profile. I was sent a profile of someone I knew. On the side of the profile it will display when they were last online 24hrs or online now. Next to his photo appeared "online now". I contacted him by phone and questioned him. He stated he was not on the internet nor on their site and had not been a member of Chemistry for several years. I think there needs to be an investigation into this companies business practice. The BBB is a sorry organization so where does one go from here, but to inform the public of Chemistry's dishonest business practice.

I have received two scam emails from a man named Tim Howard and another one named Harry. I have paid for a three month trial and this is very disconcerting.

Scam!!! I signed up for their special; 3 months for $49.95 and have been on for 8 days. After the 5th day I no longer recieve matches. Most of the matches they sent for the first few days do not fit my criteria. I've complained to customer service via email and get responses that do not answer my questions only tell me to refer to the help site; which do not anwer my questions. The site is not user friendly nor is customer service.
