POOR SERVICE/CHARGED FOR POOR WORKMANSHIP DONE BY DEALER
ON FRIDAY SEPT. 15, 2009 I HAD A KEY MADE AND TWO REMOTES PROGRAMMED. AFTER I GOT HOME, MY HUSBAND REALIZED THE KEY DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE NEXT MORNING THE BATTERY WAS 100% DEAD. IT WAS JUMPED OFF AND WE BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. THE NEXT MORNING THE NEW BATTERY WAS 100% DEAD. ON MONDAY SEPT. 21 IT WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND EXPLAINED THAT WE HAD NO PROBLEMS BEFORE THEY MADE THE KEY AND PROGRAMMED THE REMOTES. SERVICE SAID IT WS POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE AND WOULD CHECK IT OUT. THEY KEPT THE TRUCK AND STARTED ON IT WEDNESDAY. REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO FIND THE PROBLEM WERE NOT SUCCESSFUL. WE REALIZE THEY WERE HAVING A HARD TIME AND TECH SUPPORT HAD SENT A PART TO TRY. FRIDAY MORNING AT ABOUT 9:30 AM WE CALLED AND WERE TOLD THE PART DID WORK AND THE BATTERY WAS 100% DEAD AGAIN. IN LESS THAN AN HOUR BILLING CALLED AND SAID OUR VEHICLE WAS READY. WE QUESTIONED WHY LESS THAN AN HOUR AGO THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND NOW SHE WAS CALLING TO SAY IT WAS READY. SHE STATED SHE DID NOT KNOW, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS READY. WENT TO PICK IT UP AND WE WERE WERE CHARGED EXCESSIVELY. I TALKED TO THE MECHANIC WHO WORKED ON THE VEHICLE . I ASKED WY I WAS CHARGED WHEN WE FELT THEY DID SOMETHING WRONG WHEN THE PROBLEM ONLY STARTED AFTER THEY MADE A KEY AND PROGRAMMED THE REMOTES. I ASKED THE MECHANIC AGAIN IF THE PROBLEM COULD HAVE BEEN CAUSE BY THE PERSON WHO PROGRAMMED THE REMOTES. HE STATED IT COULD DEFINATELY HAVE CAUSED THE PROBLEM WE WERE HAVING, BUT HE COULD NOT STATE THAT THE MECHANIC WHO DID THE PROGRAMMING DID IT INCORRECTLY. HE EXPLAINED HOW IT COULD HAVE CAUSED THE DRAW THAT IS KILLING THE BATTERY EVERY NIGHT. WE FEEL THAT NOT HAVING EXPERIENCED ANY PROBLEMS BEFORE THE KEY AND REMOTE PROGRAMMING SHOULD BE EVIDENCE THAT THEY CAUSED THE PROBLEM. WE PAID THE BILL AND DROVE THE CAR HOME AND 5 HOURS LATER THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. THIS WAS FRIDAY EVENING . THE VEHICLE WAS DEFINATELY NOT REPAIRED AND READY TO PICK UP. WE HAVE SPENT OVER $700 WHICH INCLUDED A PART THAT WAS EVIDENTLY NOT BAD AND STILL HAVE TO CARRY IT BACK MONDAY AND BE AT THEIR MERCY AGAIN. BEING WE HAVE ALREADY PAID THE BILL WE FEEL WE SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED AGAIN FOR REPAIRING THE PROBLEM. WE ALSO FEEL THAT THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF FIXING THE VEHICLE. PLEASE ADVISE AS WHAT WE CAN DO.
