On 12/19/08, I was traveling to Marco Island, I have a 2002 Trans am, in mint condition, with only 20, 000 miles. I purchased gas at your station at appox.10;oo pm, maybe within 10 or 15 mintues, my car began to missfire and and the service engine light came on. I had to exit the highway and bed down for the night to wait for a dealer ship to open. the problem couldnt be address that morning cuz thier technition wasnt in and wouldnt be till monday. I had to rent a car, to make my destination. On Tueday, the tech called me and told me that the fueld was contaminated and had to drained the tank and blow out the fuel lines. I have all the documentation with me. As the dealer stated this wasnt due to my neglect, he did state it was the fuel I purchased. Am not one to chase down people for money, but in this situation, To have shelled out an extra 1100.00 dollars over a bad tank a fuel makes me sick. I MADE A DEBIT CARD PURCHASE (PAID AT THE PUMP) FOR GAS ON NOVEMBER 1, 2008 IN THE AMOUNT OF $39.50. AND ITS A GOOD THING I KEEP TRACK OF MY BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I WAS CHARGED $75.00 FOR THE GAS INSTEAD!! I WILL BE DISPUTING THIS WITH MY BANK AND GETTING A FULL REFUND! WHAT A WAY FOR THE GAS STATION TO RIP PEOPLE OFF !! HOW MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT DIDN'T KNOW THEY DID THIS HAVE THEY TAKEN MONEY FROM??? I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHEVRON AGAIN!!

After working hard & finally heading home I stopped off at the Irondale, AL Chevron gas station. I pumped & paid by credit card at the pump> I did this for the convenience so I would not have to go into the store. When I questioned the clerk about no receipts outside> he went into a tirade about the outside receipt problem. I told him I needed to go & to just give me the receipt, that I was not interested in any further details. He followed me out the door, yelling and cursing me & told me not to return. I wasn't planning on returning to a business that allows a rude, temperamental & immature clerk to "service" the public. It's bad enough that gas prices are higher but at least we can give our $$$ to others that are polite with emphasis on customer service. This guy was young, slim, foreign & apparently needs to be disciplined or fired. I have heard from others that in the community that he has "flew the handle" & has been obnoxious & rude to them as well. I have also called the Chevron company & lodged a complaint as well. More people should complain about poor service so that the matter will be corrected. Otherwise simply stop patronizing these places & then they might take action to ensure the consumers are treated with respect & courteously.

I last purchase med trade gas and my engine light came on, the engine sounds pretty bad. Took the truck to the dealer, changed the battery, cleaned the fuel injection 7 cell, they said everything was good. drove off the lot and light came back on. Next they drop the gas tank and drained. The product that came out separated, with the gel like substances settling to the bottom with black swirls in it. The repair shop told me it was disel mixed with gas. the station above was the last place that i put gas in. Has anyone else experience any problems?

I recently had a problem with someone stealing my bank card info and using it at two gas stations in a state that I don't even live in. Frustrated, after I contacted my bank I wanted an explaination from the company as to why this happened. All I wanted as contact information so I could speak with the manager at that location. An email customer service rep basically told me I was not charged because they could not charge me without the card. I had proof from the bank and overdraft charges to go with it. Then when I asked to speak to the supervisor I was told to contact my bank and the Chevron too was a victim here!! They do not care at all. I work in customer service and I am well aware how people should be treated and he just dismissed me without so much as an apology. I thought that is what managers in stores were there for, to listed to complaints. Because the issue is obviously there at the store location and I thought they would like to know.
