We have a 2008 Chevy Malibu Hybred in the past 9 weeks the car has been to the dealers 4 times,
first problem was lost of power going up a hill, but NO LIGHTS CAME ON OR WARNINGS ON DISPLAY.
TOOK CAR IN WAS TOLD CAR FINE, so we did trans tune up, also WAS TOLD could use new tires and ligement, also recommed Fuel Injuducts flush, ( was told every thing else was fine)
the following week, had to take the car back in, this time ENGINE LIGHT, BATTERY LIGHT, AND SERVICE HYBRED WAS BEING DISPLAYED. AFTER ALMOST TWO DAYS THE dealer " Mark Christphor" said it needed new batties, than they paid for a rental but said GM would not cover engine battery only Hybred Batt.
two weeks later while getting on freeway batt. light comes on, this time they have the car 1 1/2 days and only reset the light, was told to drive it to see if light came on. ( EVERYTHING WAS OK, THEY COULD NOT SEE ANY PROBLEMS.)
ONE WEEK LATER BATT, ENGINE, LIGHT AND SERVICE HYBRED DISPAY COMES ON AGAIN, THIS TIME AGIAN 2 DAYS PASS THAN A RENTAL IS OFFERED, THEY NOW SAY BOTH POSSIVE CABLES BAD, AND MODULE AND FUES BAD, SOME ARE COVERED SOME WHERE NOT COVERED, AGAIN ONLY PART WAS COVERED.
this is not the first time we had problems with this car, at 17, 000 miles the SVR HILL STREET LIGHT came on, Transmission ( 3 rd gear ) had to be rebuilt, which was covered by warrintee.
