I had abhorrent experiences with Cheyenne Pease-Carter, PhD, LPC, several years ago when I was a counseling student at The University of North Texas. At the time she was earning her doctorate and she was teaching an undergraduate level course. During my experiences with her she blurted out insulting innuendo on a regular basis; she used a cutting and flippant tone of voice with me on a regular basis; she made it obvious that she had biases and hate towards me but she refused to sit down and deliberate on the issues in an honest manner when I confronted her twice about the problems; she continued to be dishonest with me instead of sitting down to deliberate on the problems; she preferred a "code of silence" rather than a mature discussion; and she treated me unfairly several times by yelling out at me "I'm keeping an eye on you!" and "Your work is too good to be yours!" in front of other students which made me feel offended and harassed. She also wrote derogatory comments on my assignment: "You will starve off if you do not try harder." All of what she did was intimidation, provocation, hate-mongering, undue influence, and discrimination.
Because of her duplicitous behaviors I believe she does not deserve to counsel others, she does not deserve to teach others, and she does not deserve to have a job. She should be cleaning toilets for a living. I have no doubt that she is a provocateur out to oppress, intimidate, and exploit those who she deems to be inferior. But since she did not bother to sit down with me and kindly deliberate on the issues: she let this problem fester and it works against her record as a two-faced unprofessional hypocritical white Anglo woman. And I believe the public needs to stay away from her at all times.
After complaining to her bumbling *** supervisor at UNT I still never received apologies or explications: Dr. Cheyenne Pease-Carter continues on with her hypocritical doublespeak and lies on her professional websites that portray her as a sweet wonderful Christian angel: I believe she is more like a malevolent demon hiding in the whimsical glow of an angelic facade. I've seen this corruption before: it's a mind game within a mind game within an illusion within a facade within a parody. Her behaviors are antithetical to real counseling which is a secular practice and a secular profession that empowers and motivates the individual: I noticed that she does workshops at fundamentalist Christian churches (Church of Christ). I believe that is absurd and asinine because psychological theories and psychological methods have nothing to do with Christ, God, the bible, or spirituality. The Bible is filled with "thought terminating cliches, " "contradictions, " and hypocritical violence and hate. I certainly wouldn't base my code of ethics on The Bible or on conservative Christianity.
Furthermore, my grades were excellent as I was able to continue onto graduate school and to complete a master's degree. I am also a secular social activist who is supportive and protective of all minorities: I believe it is important to fight hypocrisy, oppression, discrimination, provocateurs, and abuse of power at all times with freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and activism that upholds the equal protection clause (i.e., 14th constitutional amendment).
Lastly, I believe Cheyenne Pease-Carter is not to be trusted. I wouldn't even bother taking or paying for any of her classes. I abhorred her classes: her lectures were filled with obfuscation, obscurantism, extreme bias, and circular reasoning.
