Forgery and Fraudulent Charge
On 08 January 2011, my son and I had dinner at Chili’s Restaurant located at 6121 Westheimer Road, Houston TX. I paid for my order using my visa credit card (9960). Upon receipt of my credit card statement later in the month, I noticed the charge was much higher than what had been ordered. Upon further investigation, it has been verified by the management staff that a $15.00 tip was included with my $23.00 order.
The Chili’s management team immediately removed the fraudulent charge. After several days of communicating with the staff, I became even more concerned that the individual who willfully forged my signature may have access to my card number and security code. I expressed this concern to senior management to include the area director, Jack Elder.
On 29 January, I was in the area and decided to stop in and request a copy of my receipt. Much to my surprise, the receipt bore a forged signature with fraudulent charges. The manager on duty was less than accommodating under the circumstances. I addition, the waiter who served my son and I is still working at the establishment. He is the one who forged my signature and made the fraudulent charge.
Chili’s management team has failed miserably to reconcile this issue. I have contacted my credit card company to make them aware of the fraudulent charge. I have also filed a police report of the incident.
It is very discouraging to be the victim of thief and have no recourse. I have requested an audit of my numerous visits to that same Chili’s location, but to no avail. The management team seems to think this issue is resolved. On the other hand, I contend as long as Chili’s continues to employ people who clearly lack honesty and integrity, this issue remains unsettled. The public is entitled to know this organization condones forgery and fraudulent charges by its employees.
I shall continue to make every effort (public and private) to ensure this type of misconduct does not happen to any loyal customers of Chili’s and or Brinker International. I have forwarded a copy of this compliant to the Texas State Attorney General’s office as well as your establishment. Additional communications will be viral.

Horrible Service
There are several Chili's in our area. The closest one to our house is awful. Tonight it was crowded but there were two empty tables in the bar first come first serve. The tables needed to be cleaned off we waited several minutes before someone would even attempt to clean it off. The manager even walked by twice before she would even ask if we wanted to sit there. We got seated and wait another 5 minutes before seeing a waiter. We order drinks and Queso dip but we did not want salt on our chips. He said no problem. 8 minutes later we got our drinks and chips but no dip. finally the dip arrives but when we tried the dip with the chips the chips had salt on them and the tea turned out to be sweet it was suppose to be unsweet. When the waiter finally came back took our chips to get ones without salt and he only brought one glass of the right tea we had to ask for another. It took a while to get our chips our food came out in the mean time. One of us had a corndog and it was not done. It took a long time to get the corndog. The manager stopped by in the mean time and we told her our problems she gave us our meal for free but our glasses of tea and water were empty but she walked off before we could ask for more drinks and she didn't offer to get us anything else. The waiter kept disappearing even when it slowed down. He started the experience by saying there are only two waiters in this section so it might be slow.<br />

On another occasion to the same chili's the hostest forgot to write down the pager number and we had sat at the bar. she wrote our name and she called it but we did not hear it at the bar. that was bad but it was really bad considering she knows me personally she did not even look around to see if she saw me. They need a PA system if they are going to have airheads work there.

Kick in the wallet
Funny, how when a vendor offers a break with one hand, they usually offer a slap with the other. Such is the obvious case with the restaurant chain Chili's. During a short layover at Houston International Airport, I had just enough time to dash in and order a quick meal and drink at Chili's (specifically in the B concourse). I noticed that the local time was 5:45 PM as I opened my menu.
Clearly, Chili's was very intent on promoting their variety of margarita concotions, yet while the food items deeper in the menu were clearly indicated, no prices appeared anywhere for any of these touted drinks.
As most patrons might, I surmised that Chili's may actually have "happy hour" pricing, which would explain the absence of published drink prices. So, I ordered a 'regular house margarita on the rocks' along with a $9.59 salad with chicken.
After finishing the salad and margarita (a plastic beer mug filled mostly with ice and a mediocre pre-mixed margarita recipe), I received the bill. The drink was listed on my tab as "Margarita, Rocks - TS". "TS" means that the tequila was requested as "top shelf" or a patron-requested more expensive brand than the regular "well" tequila.
My drink was $9.00!
I indicated to the waitress that there had been a mistake, as I reminded her that I had requested a 'regular' margarita. She explained to me that all of their margaritas are "Top Shelf" only.
Wait a second. What?
Okay, obvioulsly Chili's at a busy hub airport figures that travelers in a hurry don't have time to argue over such an issue, as I didn't. But what this little switch did is really tick me off, and now causes my ire to be raised about the Chili's reputation.
So beware, fellow travelers. Chili's will entice you with their splashy drink menu, without letting you know that their drinks real kick comes with the bill. A kick right in the wallet.

poor management
We "called ahead" at 6:30 and stated that we would like 2 booths. We arrived at 7. There were already about 20 people waiting for booths, probably several who had also called ahead. Within one half hour, all of the other people waiting were seated. We were the only ones left that had not been seated. As new people began walking in the door, they were seated immediately ! Finally, at 7:45, we complained to the manager that we had asked for 2 booths, called ahead, and now we were witnessing "walk-ins" getting seated immediately. The manager stated that he thought we wanted 2 booths together. (How could we ever get 2 booths together if, every time one booth became available, someone was seated there ?) We stated that we did not ask for 2 booths together, and that we would have been very happy with any 2 booths in the same room. The manager was anything but apologetic, so we left ! Chili's management could use some training !

Noise
My otherwise good experience at Chili's restuarant was sp0iled by a woman yakking on her cellphone at the top of her lungs. Her loud conversation was so annoying, and the staff at Chili's did not ask her to quiet down; very upsetting!!

Menu Items
We have ALWAYS considered Chili's our #1 restaurant since our very first experience in Bristol Va. several years ago.We were very excited to find a Chili's was oponed in Statesville NC. We travel all around in a group and everywhere we see a chili's we stop.
Our group of us recently visited your restaurant in Statesville to find out that our favorite #1 waitress, Star Dickson was no longer workibg there. The waitress that did wait on us was very nice and courtious. The problem we had was that the items that were listed on the menu were not available for some unexplained reason which we didn't find out yntil AFTER ordering.
We at that point called for the tab and left your restaurant and went to another restaurant in town. Needless to say we were ALL very dissapointed and are wondering if we will visit anymore of your restaurants anymore.
Just thought we needed to bring this to your attention.
