Service
On Saturday, April 16, 2011, a friend and I visited Chili's located near the mall in Valdosta, GA around 1pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy and we was seated pretty quickly, The service there was horrible, though! The waitress paid us absolutely no attention. It took her ten minutes to come take our drink order, and since it took her so long, we went ahead and ordered our food too. After waiting another ten/fifteen minutes everything came out at once (courtesy of another waitress). My friend and I noticed that our waitress wasn't just neglecting us, but she was neglecting her other tables too. When we was finished eating, we waited thirty minutes on our tickets (even after asking 2 different servers, including an employee that was dinning in the booth behind us--she overheard the conversation between my friend and I). The manager actually walked out and was talking with the girl, his waitress, that was dinning in, and when were still ticketless, the girl told him, he walked over, apologized, and said he would go get our ticket. He did not suggest a discount on our bill or anything of that matter. Five minutes after his attempt at being a "manager, " our waitress came with our ticket, and we walked out the door paying the entirety of our bill. SO needless to say, not only is the service HORRIBLE but the management is HORRIBLE too! We should have been in there, at the most, forty-five minutes, but we ended being in there for two hours.

If you're in Valdosta, GA and are thinking about dining out--stay away from this Chili's and their poor service!! If I could suggest something, go to Cheddar's--great service, food, and good prices!!

Wife and I stopped in for an early dinner on a recent Sunday afternoon. There was no "host" at the front desk, and no sign
telling us to either wait to be seated or seat ourselves. We stood by the desk for a couple of minutes, feeling unsure and a
little embarrassed, then decided to seat ourselves. Although there were several servers standing no more than 10 feet from our table, chatting with each other of course, none would look in our direction and none came to welcome us much less take our order. After 7 minutes, and seeing that nothing would induce any of these people to serve us, we made moves to leave. Oddly, at that very moment, the "manager" came over and apologized for no one having realized we were there! When we explained that the problem started because the host was not at his/her station, she lamely excused the person by stating that she left to take some dishes to the kitchen. We suggested that a small sign, put in place whenever the host left, would solve at least an important part of the problem (only partially because the servers are not trained to think for themselves)
she told us that "corporate" didn't allow any kind of seating sign. Yeah, right.

food
Tilapia on a plank - comes with salad - 10.95 - asked for an exchange of salad _ I don't eat cheap iceberg lettuce- tilapia - small, no seasoning, undercooked - charged an extra 2.95 for romaine lettuce even tho server did not say it was an extra charge when I asked her. Poor food and poor value!!!

I won't go to Chili's again!!

Improper seating ...Unprofessional Manager
10/11/08 1:30pm Told 10-15 min wait...Lots of tables not bussed...people out side and instide waiting...two women arrive ..hostess quotes 10-15 min wait..waitress comes to desk and the two lady's
proceed with her to table...two other lady's and myself object...waitress leaves...two lady's turn to me
and other couple that complained and tells us this waitress is a friend...we contend we've being waiting
and they can't just come in and go ahead of every one...they sit down...next thing you know they've been called to the waitress's table (they know)...the other couple and I object...I request manager and he
just looks at me and say's he doesnt' know...the hostess proceedes to tell us they called ahead and we all reply that they don't take reservations...she silent's...the manager just stands there with nothing to say
we all give our pagers back and report to the outside people that others are cutting because they're friends

The Manager was very RUDE...About 3 weeks ago this same manager did the very same but with my
husband 6' 6" he did not challenge...He also was taking applications for employement to which if they
were looker women he invited to come in and sit down to fill the app. out...but if you did'nt cut the mustard he sent you on your way with an application...unfair practice don't you think.. the city i live in host's 3 college's i'll be glad to spread the work...

tilapia
Our family ate at the Chili's restaurant in Redlands, CA on June 20, 2008.  My brother-in-law ate the tilapia and became ill that evening and continued to feel ill the next day.  He was the only person to eat the tilapia so we contribute his illness to this food.  The food and service were excellent and we spent over $200 during our visit.  Just wanted you to know to be careful of the tilapia.  Otherwise everything else was wonderful!!

Bugs
I went to Chili's Restaurant on 1840 W. County Road B2, Roseville MN 55113. There was a large cock roach climbing on the wall next to our booth. The manager came to our booth to apologize and told us they were infested with them and have been working on getting rid of them for a while now. I feel they should be closed until they get rid of the bugs.

cold food
Although Chili's restaurants use the same recipies, the restaurant in Chicago Ridge serves COLD FOOD!! After sending back the soup (because it was ice cold and you could see the grease floating on top) the french fries were also cold and you could tell they had been sitting around in the kitchen. I was afraid to send them back too --maybe the server would spit on the food. The salad was brown. The whole experience was awful and we will never return to that Chili's.

service/Food/overcharged
Our party of seven we seated at two tables, when the waitress came to bring the food we were figuring who got what. The waitress became annoyed continually rolling her eyes. My neice and her exchanged a few words in which I diffused by calling the manager over, she took the side of the waitress. I asked for my steak medium it looked as if the cow was just skinned. Lastly The other table had asked for the sampler in which they brought out each basket separately, and at one point the waiter gave them an extra basket claiming that was free due to a mistake he had made. When we received the bill all the baskets were charged to us separtely not as a sampler and even the one they had given for "free". We just paid the bill and am wtiting now in hopes of a resolution from this complaint. Thank You

The drink was terrible
Last week my husband and I ate dinner and had a mixed drink at Chili's, a newly opened restaurant in our area. Our food was good, but the drink was terrible...all the salt on the rim of my glass dissolved into the raspberry drink, making it taste terrible! Perhaps the rim should have been coated with sugar, not salt, as the drink was a sweet one.
