cho yung tea Reviews

Beware
In july 2010 I signed up for the cho yung tea's free trail. In order to not be charged for any products they automatically send after the trail, one is required to cancel their account within a 14 day window.

I did this as I only wanted the free trail and recieved an email confirming that my account had been cancelled on the 25th july 2010.

On which all my details should have been removed from their system and this should have been the end of any business with them.

However, in August I became aware that my bank account had become overdrawn due to the company unlawfully taking money from my account for no reason at all with details they should no longer have possessed.

I contacted the company and have copies of all our correspondance, and they did refund my money the following week.

However I am now aware I am not their only victim and for the grief and embarassment they caused me from taking money from my account, I feel should be better compensated and those emotions have compelled me to not let this incident go unheard.

Fraudsters - Scammers
Nasty Fraudsters.

I purchased the "Free Trial" of Cho Yung tea and paid the shipping and handling from the UK site and settled back to wait for the tea to arrive. A week passed and nothing arrived. I checked the site and it said I was already several days through my "free trial". I spoke to their "help desk" who told me the "free trial" starts from when I receive the shipment, but I was not convinced since they wouldn't know when I received the shipment. So I canceled my future payments. A month passed and nothing arrived. I went back to the site and found I couldn't log in. There was a message: "Sorry! You are not authorized to login" Again I spoke to the help desk and they told me that nothing would be sent since I canceled my future orders. They just refused to send the product for which I'd paid the shipping. So I told them I'd reinstate my order (which included the ongoing supply and charging to my credit card) so they would then send me the product for the "Free Trial" for which I'd already paid. I could then access their website and log in. They told me that the "Free Trial" product would then be sent to me.

I then canceled my credit card so they couldn't charge any further payments. And I waited for the "Free Trial" shipment to arrive. It never did. I tried again to access their website but again I couldn't log in even though I hadn't canceled my membership on the site.

What this means is that when they discovered they could not charge me for the second months payment they refused to send even the "Free Trial" shipment for which I'd already paid.

Nasty, nasty SCAMMERS!!!

Scam
Cho Yung is definitely engaging in unscrupulous behavior. There so many hoops to jump through it is almost impossible to cancel your FREE 14 DAY TRIAL. How is it possible to return at least 1 unopened packet when you have yet to receive any packets. I was told because of the Iceland volcano delivery would be delayed. Upon further research I decided to cancel. Believe me I jumped through a lot of hoops only to be told that I had to return something I never received. Not only that they want it returned in 8 days with a proof of delivery. Now to be sure I don't get screwed I have to cancel my credit card and get a new one. By the way they sent me an address to return the product to but neglected to name the country of destination. Seems like they don't want it returned so they can continue billing your credit card. Am I right in assuming this is a United Kingdom scam. This could be the greatest product ever but as long as the principals in the company behave in such an underhanded manner who's going to bother trying it? Buyer beware you have been warned. Don't be a jerk like me. Green tea is green tea. Why spend $2.00 a bag?
I was sent an email from Cho Yung and when I sent a reply I was informed it was not now or ever going to be delivered to [email protected]. What a bunch of cr__ks. These guys need to be shut down.

fraud of website
The website has got a 14 days trial which you have to pay for only postage. But after enteting all credit card information, the site said "error occurred. your bank didn't authorise this transaction, but we can offer ..." Then, 1 month, 3 months, 6 month offer that cost more than £70-£200. And there is no option that I can finish this transaction or just return to the main menu. So I am not sure that my transaction has been cancelled by my bank or not...
Also if you were sent 14 days trial of tea, then if you didn't contact them in 14 days, you will be taken £54 automatically. This is written in inadequate place with very small letters.
Be aware, never go to this site, never try to get trial... it's all lie.

Fraud in the site
Hi

This site has been advertising trial period of 60 tea bags for postage fees. in Terms and conditions which is greyed out and users tend to not see it. (I'm in the user experience field) states that £56 will be taken if we do not get back within 14 days. and every month then on.

The catch here is, when they're selling free tea bags with just postage fees, they donot mention anything about 14 days. but only in terms and conditions which is absolutely greyed out.

I like other 1000s of people have been duped by this site. I've returned the packages to them and I'm awaiting for them to refund my money.
Can we take any legal action against them? Please help. £56 is not small amount and that at least should be highlighted in big bold sentences. please help

cheers

CHO YUNG TEA
cho yung tea like most people i wanted to try any thing to loose weight and when i saw this free trial of cho yung tea which helps with weight lose i thought why not it wouldnt hurt to try well i was wrong. At first all was well i was sent the tea and started using it nothin changed but when a few days went on i thought i would research what was in the tea because by this time i wasnt feeling well i was having very bad stomach pains. i found a woman with exactly the same pains but she also mentioned that she had been conned by this company. so what i did was ring up my bank to see if any money had left my account it had. it wasnt aurthorised and i was still in my 14 trial days so i didnt know what was going on so i cancelled my bank account and also the cho yung tea i sent the tea back but they are know accusing me off not sending the tea back. Not only have they taken money out of my account without aurthorisation but selling me tea that has made me ill. but know there also expecting me to pay extra. FOR WHAT!!!
