Waiting 10 months for a broken part on a new barbecue.
Bought a CalFlame barbecue last spring that had a broken part. CalFlame said part is covered but ChooseDirect needs to verify my order with them. ChooseDirect listens to me but never calls back or follows through with my request. ChooseDirect now doesn't deal with CalFlame but told me a "technician" would call me back to get me the part. This was a month ago and I as always haven't gotten a call back. Has anybody out there put in a small claims lawsuit? If so how did you do it if you live in a different state than the company?

Delivery
I ordered an outdoor faucet in January, 2010. It's now June and I still don't have it and they will not provide a refund. Every time I call them, I get a new shipping date with a promise they will notify me if anything changes. They don't call and they don't return calls you leave on their answering machine. When you do finally reach them, you get a new date and the same broken promise. Do not order from this company.

No Mdse No Refund No Callbacks
I ordered and paid in full for a hot tub in Dec 09. After numerous calls to the company after the supposed delivery date I was told it was delayed until late June. So I cancelled. I cannot get this company to send my money back although they say I can have a refund. I can get someone to answer the sales line but not the customer service line. When I get call backs or actually make contact with one of the employees, I get the run around. It seems the person who handles that is not avail. They are always on a call or out of the office. Its been a month now and the merry go round just keeps turning. I have filed complaints with the BBB and FTC. The BBB does seem to be helping put the pressure on. I can't understand how a company run like this can stay in business.

Bad customer service
I ordered a hot tub/spa on Aug 4th 2009. I was advised of a delevery of 8 wks (roughly Oct 4). As of this date, (Dec 28, 2009), I have yet to recieve my spa.

During this time the company did not contact me and when I contacted them, they give conflicting stories as to the reason for the dalay, (exp: 2 month hold up for customs).

Only after telling them that I would be contacting the local police department, did they agree to and ship my spa. I have yet to recieve it, but I am advised by a shipping company that an item is scheduled to be delivered on 1/13/10.

I complained to the BBB and they have many complaints on under choosehottubsdirect.com. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
