Christian Community Action - CCA, in Lewsiville, TX should remove the term "Christian" from their name. Nearly every person that I have encountered at this organization has been rude and selfish and unhelpful. The organization carries a type of "holier than thou" mentality around and is run like a business, not as a "Christian" outreach to help those in need, as it purports itself to be. That being said, I am certain that the organization does help many people. However, in my opinion, it does not do so in a Christian way. Its staff seem to be burdened by their work and view the people that they help as beneath them. I have spent enough time with enough individuals at the organization to be aware of this. Further, my mother counseled a person at the organization who a few days after their first appointment committed suicide. My mother was never counseled on this... no one at CCA offered their assistance. CCA is a careless organization who enriches the pockets of their executives and funnels donated handouts to the needy in a careless manner.
