My group stopped by this place because the sign said hot homemade peach cobbler and ice cream. When we walked up to the counter we were told to pay credit or debit card only because the cash drawer wouldn't open. Ok. The first of our group ordered her cobbler (which was $4.95 btw) and pecan ice cream. The clerk said she was out of that ice cream. Ok, do you have homemade vanilla? Yes... but we are out of it too. Ok, what do you have? Peaches and cream. Ok, cobbler with peaches & cream ice cream. Btw, we could see an unopened container of homemade vanilla in the freezer case.
Those of us who didn't want peaches & cream ice cream just got plain cobbler. She dipped it out into styrofoam bowls that are about 3" wide and the cobbler only came halfway up the bowl. We were not too happy about getting about 5 bites for $5, but went to the table to eat. I ate 2 bites and had nothing but crust. This was also not homemade; judging by the thick syrupy gel it either came from a wholesale store or from grocery store canned pie filling.
I lifted the crust and in the corner were 2 small slivers of peaches. One of my friends had no peaches in her bowl. I would encourage everyone to keep driving when they see the sign for this place.
