Garnished for a closed account
I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee many years ago. My wife and I had full coverage including death insurance. My wife died in 2007, and the insurance kicked in. Then, in 2009, Chrysler Financial garnished my bank account. I called and they took the garnishment off. Now, yesterday, they put another garnishment on my bank account. I called again and they said that the account has been paid off by my late wife's ins. Why are they trying to get double payments. I think I will have my attorney contact them. The account was closed out in 2003. I just don't understand what they are doing! They got bail-out money, why are they trying to steal more?!

Unwarranted charges
My Husband and I leased a Dodge Caravan in 2006, this was the 4th Chrysler we had owned in 10 years and were very happy with their product. We made every payment on-time and never had an issue with Chrysler Financial, 3 months before our lease expired a very nice representative named Jill contacted us and inquired if we would be keeping the vehicle or turning it in? My Husband and I had agreed to turn the van in and save some money so Jill advised us we could take the van in for a complimentary pre-inspection. Two weeks before the van was to be turned in we took it in for the inspection, it had brand new tires, was almost 20, 000kms under the allowance and had no rips, tears, stains or dents! I'm not blowing smoke up anyones ass that is the truth! 2 months after we turned it in and it was approved by a Chrysler representative we received a call claiming that we owe $366 due to "excessive wear and tear " on an exterior bumper! I requested pictures to prove that they had to repair a bumper that had zero damaze and I was told by Chrysler Financial that they actually didn't fix the vehicle but I was being charged for the amount they lost due to damage that could not be documented or proven. I will never buy another Chrysler product, I hope all the CF employees realize how important their jobs are and know they are so close to being out of a job!

Don't get loan with them
I have always made my payments on time since 2007. I even pay more than the min. I am unemployed now and wanted an extension cause I am having a financial bad month. They want you to pay the interest then secure the next payment..which is all fine until they put $15 for processing fees for both transactions when I can pay it for free on my billpay like I always do. I can't afford $30..I am unemployed! Then they want you to fax a signed paper..I don't have a fax machine. They were rude and I told them I would never buy another Chrysler again!!! I can't wait to get this car paid off..so I won't have to deal with this rude, unconcerned and unprofessional company again!!

Harassing Calls Daily
I recieve harassing collection calls daily from Chrysler Financial over my $166.00 monthly payment being late. Some times they call several times a day and hang up when I answer the phone. None of the numbers that come up on my caller ID identify the call as coming from Chrysler Financial. None of their representatives will give me their actual office adress where they are calling from. I have told each representative that I am currently on disability (hip replacement surgery) and will disburse my payments whe I recieve my check and request that they stop calling. I get the same response from most of their representatives; Unless you make arrangements to pay the call will continue, and the calls do continue. I've recieved up to ten calls one day. When I am done with this account Chrysler will never recieve another dime of my money. I have filed two Federal Trade commision complaints and two Attorney General complaints to date, and they month isnt even over.

leases
i tried to get help from chrysler financial when my husband got sick. they said they can't (won't) do anything to assist. so i tried the dealer, napleton's in lake park, and they said they can't do anything to help. i ended up returning the car to the dealer on a voluntary repo.
at the same time i leased my t&c, my kids leased 2 cars, with my husband co-signing. they had a baby and were sometimes late on the payment. the calls were horrible, up to a dozen a day. my husband is at home now due to ill health and gets the calls. he got so frustrated he began using extreme foul language and they continue to call.
3 months ago they traded in the 2 leased cars they had, got 2 new vehicles, not on a chrysler lease, and chrysler financial claims they don't have the cars, they placed a repo notice on our credit, which was then reversed, (we have a letter stating such). and today the phone calls began again. for cars that have been in their possesion for over 3 months. and they told my husband that they do not have the cars.
chrysler financial needs to stop doing business, fold up tents and go home because they don't know what they are doing, how to organize a business, keep track of accounts, and worst of all they have no idea what customer service means. never tried to work with such unethical idiots before and never will again.

Payment Priviledge
FOR ALL THOSE THAT HAVE A CAR LOAN WITH CHRYLSER FINANICAL. DID YOU KNOW THAT MAKING A PAYMENT ON THEIR WEBSITE (FREE) IS A "PRIVILEGE" FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS? AFTER LOSING A JOB 4 YEARS AGO AND STRUGGLING TO MAKE THE PAYMENT EACH MONTH WITH UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS ~ THEY INFORM ME THAT BECAUSE I HAD A COUPLE OF RETURN ITEMS, I AM NO LONGER PRIVILEDGED TO MAKE PAYMENTS DIRECTLY ON THE WEBSITE. UNDERSTANDING THE HISTORY, THE UNCERTAINTY OF RECEIVING UNEMPLOYMENT CHECKS AND FINDING EMPLOYMENT, THEY CONSIDER MAKING A PAYMENT A "PRIVILEDGE"????? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHRYSLER EVER AGAIN WHETHER IT BE BUYING A CAR OR FINANCING. FINALLY FINDING A A FULL TIME PERMANENT JOB AND TRYING TO SET UP AUTO PAY, THEY REFUSE BECAUSE WE LOST THE "PRIVILEDGE" WITH THE RETURN ITEMS 4 YEARS AGO. YET, THEY HAVE NOT PROBLEM CALLING ME OVER 10 TIMES A DAY IF I AM DELAYED IN THE PAYMENT. WHERE IS THE LOGIC IN THIS. I WILL SUBMIT A COMPLAINT TO THE STATE IN WHICH I LIVE AND WHERE THEY DO BUSINESS. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE ENDURED THEIR TERRIBLE COLLECTION PRACTICES AND EVEN THEIR INABILITY TO ACCEPT PAYMENT AND MAKE YOU GO OUT TO WESTERN UNION AND PAY MORE MONEY, PLEASE JOIN ME AND WRITE TO WHOM EVER YOU CAN. WE DID NOT BAIL CHRYSLER FINANCIAL OUT, BUT WE DID BAIL OUT THE COMPANY THAT KEEPS THEM IN BUSINESS. I DO NOT RECALL ANYONE ASKING ME IF I WOULD OFFER THEM THE "PRIVILEDGE" OF THAT BAIL OUT TO KEEP THEIR JOBS AND BUSINESS OPEN.

Stay away
Stay far away from chryslar financial and do not lease a car through them never be a day late on your payment or they will be on your front step wanting their money. Rude costumer service and overall rotten people. Shame on the company for treating people the way they do I will never buy through them again. Oh and my 2008 jeep patriot is a piece of crap and they should be ashamed selling such junk everything is falling apart and everytime it goes in to get fix they can't seem to find the problems. I will not be buying this vehicle when the lease is up or any other chryslar made vehicle

Not willing to help at all
I called chryslers finance department to ask if they could help me with my payments. i simply explained to the person that i have fallen on bad times and i needed them to help me out with my loan. the *** on the phone suggested that i bring the car into one of the dealerships and willfully let them reposess it! ask yourself how the *** that helps me out! i will tell everyone i know to never use chrysler to buy a car as they are a bunch of money hungry vulturse who only want your money! thanx for all of your help chrysler! you and your staff did nothing in the way of working with me through these hard times and the amount of professionalism was bottom of the barrel! your company is without a doubt all about the money and you suck!!!

wrongful repossession
Chrysler Financial repossessed my vehicle over a month and a half worth of missing payments and even cashed my check after it was repossessed! I emailed them before it was repossessed to let them know there was a payment coming and I was going to make up the rest of what I owe ($750) on the next billing cycle. I also informed them that my home is listed for sale and that I had intentions to do a payoff at closing. ( I am wondering if that is what triggered the repo?) Ok...Maybe I might be a little childish..pay your bills or you don't ride. BUT...I put $8, 000 down and received a loan through Chrysler Financial for $20, 000. Total sticker price $28, 000. HERE'S WHAT FEELS LIKE I HAVE BEEN RAPED... I paid $20, 000 out so far..no lie!..monthly to Chrysler Financial. Total amount wrapped in my Jeep is $28, 000. Sticker price $28, 000... HOW IS THAT LEGAL????!!! I went to a lawyer..."I have never heard of anyone trying to get their vehicle back. Let it go. You will owe leftover from auction!" This cannot be an American Company! I literally lost work without my vehicle. Thanks America. I have struggled and struggled... never on welfare... no unemployment. Not a drinker, no drugs, no prescriptions. Love raw vegetables. Raising a gifted son. (science enthusiast) Two Wonderful Sons. I had a mishap of unexpected bills and this is what I get?! $28, 000 and no vehicle in my driveway. ... over a payment. Sure, they said I can get it back if I pay all these other expenses of prep fees an extra payment, repo fees and $39 daily impound fees..The longer I wait..the more expensive it gets, they tell me. WELL...IF I HAD THE MONEY...I WOULD HAVE PAID MY BILLS IN THE FIRST PLACE! I have sent out numerous emails of my story and texts out to inform everyone to boycott Chrysler Financial. I really wish we could all get together for a class action lawsuit. I could understand if I was three or four months behind. ( I had an acquaintance who bought a vehicle and never made a payment on it for SEVEN months until they picked it up!) Is it people like her that makes it screwy for us who do try?! C'mon! I am dying here for answers why this happened to me! I feel like a dog chasing his own tail.

Bad service
I bought a new Jeep Liberty and I only owe a balance of $800.00. I was a few day's late and the Constant call's began. They call every day even though you tell them when you will pay. I feel the harassment has become the source of my failing health. My Doctor said it was from worring. I told Chrysler to please call every 3 days as my health can't handle the harassing call's and of course they simply do not care! PLEASE DO NOT do business with them, and if you do make sure you tape record all call's as this is what my Attorney advised me to do.
