Terrible company
I called Chrysler to request a payoff amount for my car, I wanted to pay it off early, only to find out I was being charged penalties for making late payments. I explained to the csr I do not receive any statements telling when they are due so I make my payment within the first week of each month, still not knowing when it is actually due. Misty a supervisor in collections rudely kept repeating the fact that it is a courtesy that Chrysler sends out statements, I kept repeating to her courtesy or not I should still get them.
She then proceeds to say how come I never called to complain about the statements, to be honest I never did, but thats before I knew they where charging me penalties for not paying on time. I only found that out by chance just calling inquiring about my account, which I also feel I should get notified that I am being charged additional fees.
I feel as if they took advantage of the fact since I nerver called to complain about a statement, they can continue to charge penalties without having to notify me in advance.

Harrassing Collection Calls
Not only do they call my home more than 5 times a day, the have called my landlord (using a reverse address locator), they have called my Fiance's work after one (ONE) phone call. Our cell phones were shut off. They would call our home phone, our cell phones, our landlords number (he is listed ~ same address) and now they have even added my elderly parents number.
We have sent them numerous emails to stop calling our cells (cost $), do not call my Fiance's work ~ she is not even on the loan and not to call the elderly parents. Spoke to over 30 agents who all say they will "update the account", "remove the number", "stop calling the landlord", more lies, more lies, more lies.
Yes, we do owe them our payments and with the current state, CHRYSLER SHOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO LOST OR ARE LOSING THEIR JOBS ARE ENDURING. We cannot ask OUR goverment to BAIL US OUT!
I have contacted the California Consumer Affairs Department ~ file a complaint at www.cca.ca.gov, also the Attorney General of your state (for CA) 800 952-5225, then the Austin State Attorney General (if they are calling you from Rangers Texas) 512 463-2100. Lastly if we submit enough complaints to the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov, they will take up a case against them.
Asking Chrysler to police themselves is useless. There like asking a theft to hold your purse. Use these other agencies to put a stop to them once and for all. If I find a reputable agency that can help folks like us with Chrysler Financial and our payments, I will post on this website

Scammers!
CF calls me at least 16 times a day, its funny I don't even own a Chrysler, they are rude hateful and ignorant to say the least. Now they are calling for my 8 year old son they won't give me an address all I have is there phone number, I have asked them to stop calling every time they call.
Then the person they call for I now have all his information his name is rick k. I'm being more discreet then they are I will be contacting the FBI on this situation, anyone else having problems.

Avoid them!
We turned in a Dodge Durango at the end of our 4 year lease. We were charged $2309 for excess miles beyond the lease agreement. We received a letter via mail approximately 1 week after it was turned in. Since we did not have the funds available, we contacted Chrysler and were told that no arrangements could be made. We sent $1000 and in December the account was charged off and forwarded to a collection agency. We paid the entire balance but it went on our credit report as a charge-off. No wonder they asked for a bail out! I am still in the process of them fixing my credit report and will not stop until I do. I would appreciate any information on how to address.

Harrassment
Chrysler has called 6 and more per day we have been paying them for the last 7 years the car is 2 payments from being paid off. The first 5 years our credit with them was perfect! We bought a second vehicle (BIG MISTAKE). We bit off more than we could chew and they got their truck back. Well since then we have paid our payment ontime and that has been for a year now. We have ran short of money in the winter and because of the Ice Storm that hit and are now 2 payments behind granted the 2nd payment is only 2 days late we have talked to them and they seemed like it was ok they would work with us but today I found a note in my mailbox from the neighbor asking us to call Chrysler. I do not know how they can get away with this! It is so unfair.

Lien release
I tried several times to reach Chrysler Financial, through various numbers given to me by both the DMV and dealers. No one answered, the options did not apply to me, and at times I was told no one could take my call, and to call later!!!
(I am trying to take care of business after the death of a family member!)
Anyway, after many frustrating calls, I finally got to a rep, IN MEXICO, and I told him the next call would be to the Better Business Bureau, unless I got answers and help from him. These call centers can't do a thing, other than send you elsewhere...
If it helps anyone, he told me this:
I can fax my request to: (Can't call, just fax!)
1-800-682-831-4177
or mail it to (Can't call, no number!)
Attention Customer Service:
PO Box 950
Charlson, PA 18914
You'll need an account number (I did not have one, but when I finally got through to a live person IN MEXICO (yes, I am repeating this), he gave it to me. (I am Hispanic, so I'm just frustrated that I can't get quick real service here, geez, for an American car brand!)
I'd rate this as HORRIBLE SERVICE overall, but the rep was helpful, and said it would take about 12 business days for me to get it/ for them to fax to my DMV. I am counting...
I thank GOD that I got through.

I submitted a transfer title, bill of sale, smog, and accuired car insurance from gieco (but at the time AAA) for the vehicle and was told by the seller;Andrea Timonere and DMV in Org County Ca, that the resitration would come in the mail. I understand it is illegal to drive without registration and yet i have no choice!! I cannot reach Ms. Timonere at 310-739-2764 or 714-739-2764 and Chrysler dose not give help me because the car was originally under the sellers name, even though I sent a check for 11, 000.00. and they cashed it back on 4-6-2008. All i am asking for is my due registration and pink slip for my car

Latest Collection Scam
Today my daugher received a call from Chrysler Financial asking for me or my husband. My daugher inquired about the nature of the call and the lady got rude and hung up the phone! I called them when I got home from work and was informed that my payment had not been received and was due 15 days ago. I immediately informed the lady that I mailed my check out on January 2, 2009.
She then admitted that their post office didn't send C.F. their mail??? I am not exactly sure what happened with their post office or any other for that matter, and was surprised when she requested my payment again - Today - either electronic check or credit card payment. I reluctantly agreed to do a check over the phone. It then occured to me that I was already broke but what if they did get the check I already sent out and cashed that too? I asked her and she stated that they would cash my check and just credit my account for next month. She also told me that it would be a $15.00 fee to process the electronic check or credit card today. Then I lost my mind. What? the post office screwed you guys over so now the customers have to pay? I told her it was bullshit. I din't do anything wrong...she told me something about trying to contact 40, 000 people over this and I responded with "I don't care that is not my problem it is not my company" I told her I would pay it. I told her I would instead send out a check in the mail for FREE and they could just wait to get it. She had the nerve to tell me that they were already waiving my $10.00 late fee for not having received my payment (LIKE THEY ARE DOING ME A FAVOR? WHEN I ALREADY SENT MY CHECK AND THE POST OFFICE FESSED UP TO THEIR SCREW UP) but if i didn't pay today I would continue to accrue interest at a late rate until they did get my check by mail. Forget that. I refused to pay and then had to demand very nastily 3 times to speak with her boss. She put me on hold, came back 50 seconds later and told me that her boss informed her that all payments would be processed tonight. I asked her if that meant that my original check was already recieved? She assumed so. I hung up.
How many people made a second payment today and also the additional fees for doing a check over the phone? She said they had 40, 000 people to call so how much do they really make of f this scam?
I am refinancing with Capital 1

Harassment collection Texas
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, it would seem in these trying times that keeping customer and keeping them paying bills would be a priority, But, for these guys it all about getting the money early. If you are 1 day passed your due date they start calling to demand payment, You can tell them when you will make the payment and they continue the harassment right up until you pay.
They have no interest in working with the cutomers. I was told point blank you can return the vehicle and be liable for the balance, or you can pay your bill... Some one should start a class action lawsuit against these individuals and the company, I asked to talk to manager and was refused to get a name or a phone number, There pay must be related to the ability to get m oney in on time, Commision based collections, , ,
