DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I recently purchased a used car from chuck stevens automotive. The car appeared to be in very good condition (exterior and mechanically) and they stated that: "our vehicles are checked by our mechanics and they are in good condition, we wouldn't sell a car that wasn't in good condition". Just before the sale was completed the service engine soon light came on. They checked it and stated "someone didn't tighten up the gas cap after filling up, that's all it was" and they reset the light. Well since I've had this happen with other vehicles, it was plausible and we accepted that. One and a half days later the light reappeared and it was not what they stated. It was much more serious.

Being Christians we trusted that DANNY had spoken the truth about the service engine soon light. Oh they piped in music system was playing contemporary Christian music. Guess they weren't listening to it though. Trusting them was a huge mistake on my part. NEVER BUY A CAR WITH YOUR HEART!

We lost all confidence in chuck stevens automotive and did not trust them to do any further work on the car, so we took it to Nissan. As per the Nissan dealer service department the problem was actually a bad throttle body and carbon build up as a result of the prior owner not repairing the problem... for a long period. DANNY at chuck stevens not only lied to me, but to my wife as well. You see DANNY the sales manager told both me and my wife: "if you have any problems with the car, just call me, we will take care of it." Well that is all he meant, call him. When we called him to request they repair the vehicle because the problem was a there prior to us buying the car he stated "you have to pay for the repairs, this is a used car." In my humble opinion this damage was pre-existing and they should have covered it.

SO DID DANNY THE SALES MANAGER AT CHUCK STEVENS LIE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE THAT I PURCHASED. HE KNEW WHY I WAS BUYING THE CAR. SO DID DANNY ATTEMPT TO SEND MY YOUNG DAUGHTER OFF TO COLLEGE WITH A VEHICLE THAT WAS SUBJECT TO LEAVING HER STRANDED. YOU DECIDE! WHAT PEOPLE WILL DO FOR THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR, PUT A CHILD AT RISK. IT BREAKS MY HEART. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU DANNY, YOU CERTAINLY NEED IT.
