I am Chukwurah Mamah the author of two books( THE POWER OF GOD & JESUS CHRIST: GOOD SHEPHERD OF GOOD SHEEP) published by Athena press ltd Twickenham U.K in october 2006.
It is disheartening to have dealt with Athena press ltd. When I got the inspiration to write and completed the work, I thought of a place to publish the books and I saw a newspaper advert of this company. My feeling was that a company in a matured world like U.K, would not play pranks but my experience with them has proven me wrong.
This company gave me a wrong impression that they had powers to relocate me as an immigrant from Switzerland where I was to U.K. They promised to help me with extensive adverts and supporting TV programs in order to enhance the sales of my books, but they never did. These and many more false promises they made that convinced me to enter into contract with them but none was kept.
Above all they have not paid my royalties since 2006 when the books began to be on sales. They even convinced me to go from Swizerland to Nigeria, pretending that they will relocate me from there, only to abandon me here . This is a ploy to permanently shut me out of my work for 4years. The promises has not been kept and royalties unpaid.

I took a solicitor of Pitmans U.K who on communicating with them established four sucessful charges against them. My Solicitor revealed that the said Athena press is a vanity publisher who was Minvera press, who had series of cases about false promises and contractual failures. Athena press offerred a settlement without prejudice and my solicitor Holly Strube of Pitmans sent a settlement draft which they ought to endorse but they(Athena press) has declined since January 28, 2010, which was the last date given to them to comply.
They failed and because I can not foot the bill of a court process, my solicitor has withdrawn but she believes Athena has cases against them and ought to pay damages and the contracts worth.
