poor service/bad food
I went into church's chicken at 1409 Broadway in Gary Indiana on Tuesday September the 29th and ordered 5 of the 0.99 cents specials.The service was horrible, the chicken was cold, and the person that serviced me would not get the manager for me, nor would she give me her name

gave wrong order trur drive thur
I went thur drive thur ordered 2 breasts & 2 thighs I got home and discovered what they gave me for breasts was
some kind of dard meat and what I was given for thighs was chicken backs. I called them and told them what they did, that I did not appeciate them doing that to me and that they just lost a very good customer.

Worst food place EVER!!!
Went to this place for spicy chicken, was told it would be 25 minutes until it was done. So i pulled to the side and waited. I had my windows down and could hear everything that was ordered and what was said at the window as well. Meanwhile 15 minutes later a lady came thru and ordered spicy chicken at which they told her to pull to the side as well bcuz it wasnt done. Afterwards me and my husband watched 3 different set of cars full of ppl come thru the drive thru and order spicy chicken and pull up to the window and get it IMMEDIATELY and WITHOUT paying for it!!! Before i could pick my jaw up off my lap the manager came out to the lady that was 15 minutes behind me and ask her "What did you want again ma'am?" She said spicy chicken and he walked to the drive thru window and got her spicy chicken and walked back over there and gave it to her and she drove away. Furious i storm outta my truck and try to walk in the door at which was locked so i went to the drive thru window and said that was BULLSH*T that you gave her food before me when i was sitting here 15 minutes BEFORE she was even here and you gave all them ppl spicy chicken for free and didnt even acknowledge me at all!! He tried to say the lady didnt get spicy chicken and i was like dude look over there, there is a WHOLE F*CKIN pan right there that says spicy chicken and your sitting here saying there is none!!! I said i want my money back NOWWWWW!!! Three guys there apoligized and ask me if im sure i dont want the spicy chicken which i said HELL NO i want my F*CKIN money back and i mean RIGHT NOW!!! Finally got my money and never have been back since.
Moral to the story is dont go there, they got poor customer service and obviously dont care about there customers at ALL!

Where's the SOAP ?
Is it asking too much to expect your meal will be hot or at least very warm when they give you the food at the counter? I mean after all you are paying them money for what your about to eat. It's as if they're doing you a favor to get the order right the 1 st time. I realize this might not be a desired career choice, but come on; take a little pride in whatever you're doing !! This is ALL restaurants not just this one I am about to dump-on.
I noticed on the menu there was a chicken sandwich w/ cheese meal, so I ordered it instead of the usual 3 piece meal. Then I went to the restroom to wash my hands. There were 2 soap dispensers, neither which had soap in them & they both looked broken. I wasn't going to say anything about that until I left with the food in my stomach. ( I worked in some fast food places when I was younger. This a good tip ! ) I took a couple of bites & noticed the cheese was cold. Then I realized the center of both chicken hockey pucks were cold also. So I went to the counter & waited & waited & the manager asked what I needed. I told him (see above) & he said he would get me another one. This led to a dilemma: Do I eat my fries while they're still hot, or wait till I get the sandwich? Hmmm, OK I chose the 1st option. As I was finishing the fries, the mag. walked by me to go to the restroom, on his way back, if I got my sandwich. you know, the one he said 5 minutes ago he said he was going to get me. I said, "No not yet". He brought it to me & it was steaming hot. This was not a slice of a chicken breast but like "chicken a la blender". I should have ordered the 3 piece (at Popeye's).
On the way out, I asked an employee if I could speak to the manager & I said to him, " I noticed that your 2 soap dispensers in the men's room don't have soap in them & I was wondering how you all wash your hands?" He said, "We have a sink in the back that has soap". For some reason this response was not very reassuring. I wont be back to witness the Church's decline anymore.

BAD SERVICE
PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR ILGEAL EMPLOYEES THAT IS WORKING HERE THEY ARE RUDE CANNOT UNDRESTAND ENGLISH TALK CRAZY TO YOU THE CUSTOMER THE LEAF DO NOT FALL FAR FROM THE TREE THE MANAGER IS NO BETTER HE HAS NO MANAGER SKILLS HE LETS THESE PEOPLE SAY ANTTHING THEY LIKE MAKE THE CUSTOMER WAIT FOR EVERYTHING PLEASE COME ON NOW I JUST WAS HAPPY AS COULD BE WHEN I MET THE NEW BLACK MANAGER LADY FROM LOUISIANA ALWAYS SMILING, FRIENDLYTHANK YOU ASKING YOU TO COME AGAIN SHE NEEDS TO COME BACK AND GIVE THEM A LITTLE MORE LESSON SO WE CAN WANT TO RETURN WHY DO ARGUING HAS TO GO ON ALL THE TIME HERE AND THE PROUDUCT ARE BAD AS WELL AS THE SERVICE DO YOU HAVE A PLAN OR ARE YOU JUST HERE TO MAKE THE MONEY I AM GOING TO TELL THE BETTER BUSINESS THEY SHOULD LOOK INTO YOUR STAFF SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE THE EMPLOYEE ARE SAYING YOU CANNOT KEEP ANY ONE GOOD HERE BECAUSE THE MANAGER CATER TO HIS MEXICAN EMPLOYEE, IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON BECAUSE OF THEY RUDENESS I THINK THAT IMMRAGATION SHOULD CHECK THE FAMLY ENVIORMENT OUT YOU HAVE HERE ALSO THEY SHOULD LOOK INTO YOUR HIRING RULESYOU NEED TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR PROBLEM INSTEAD OF CREATING MORE

unfair to white employees & lower class
This restuarant treated us very wrong. The manager was told to work at another store, even though she didn't have trasportation.When she was able to get a ride to work at said store, her co-workers at her (home) store were told to go home. Why? Because other employees from the other store were going to work at the "home" store of said employees! District manager was very racsist!I quote her as saying"Why don't you hire black or mexican workers?" Why? Because at said restuarant other races did not apply there.Said restuarant employees worked very hard to serve allcustomers of all races.Can anyone make sense of this Dist. Managers unfair practices.She promises pay raises that nener materialize!

disrespectful manger
Besides the very bad customer service skills from some of your employees. Your night time manger is very rude and disrespectful to customers and also to the staff that she works with i really don't consider her a team player. I really feel you should screen your mangers more carefully before promoting them to a leaders position. She is abusing her authority and is unprofessional eating while dealing with customers in driver thru and front counter. I will not be recommending your restaurant to any of my friends or family members until such improvements are made and also you might give some thought in reevaluating some of your lead staff. By the way is there a web site to make comments on some of your more pleasant and professional employers. I really hope improvements to your resaurant will happen soon, Because i do enjoy your chicken.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 15 MINUTES FOR CHICKEN TO COOK. WAS IN DRIVE THRU, I WAITED ALMOST 35 MINUTES. KNOW ONE EVERY CAME BACK AND SAID IT BE A LONGER WAIT OR APLOGIZED, NEVER OFFERED ANYTHING EXTRA FOR THE WAIT. WHEN THEY FINALLY CAME TO THE WINDOW AND GIVE ME THE FOOD, THEY DID NOT SAY ANYTHING. VERY, VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES.

Rude Employees
Yesturday, the 15th of April at 9pm, my husband asked for a sandwich meal from church's chicken. It being my first time to Church's I was taking my time to learn the menu to select something for my self. The emloyee answers with an additude as I make the order. She starts asking me if I wanted regular jalapeños or bummers so I automatically let her know it was my first time at church's and I didn't know what they were. She repeats it to me in Spanish and I let her know that in either language I didn't know what they were but was willing to try them. We go past it and then asked if I was able to substite my fries for something else and she angrily asks me to move up to the window. At that moment she forgets to turn off her mic and I hear her cusing away on how I was such an idiot but of course all was in Spanish and in much more perverse tone. I quickly pull up to the window and repeat each word she just said. As her jaw dropped and her eyes start to water, I asked for her name and managers number. Of course she had the nerve to ask me if I still wanted the food and then starts trying to change her story, gets nervous and starts stumbling on her words. I still don't believe her and demanded her name and managers number. She handed over a receipt and points out the store number and her name. Then I let her know I was going to make sure who the idiot was now. I quickly pull away, call the number she gave me and she answered as if I wouldn't recognize her voice; of course I hung up. My husband later started investigating a corporate number as he chew his Big Texas Cheeseburger from the good o' sooo faithful Jack-in-The Box!!!

Food Poisoning
My 9 and 12 year old granddaughters are suffering a terrible case of food poisoning. They had fried chicken legs from Church's Chicken last night for dinner around 5:00 p.m. Within a few minutes, the youngest complained of a stomach ache followed by vomiting across the family room trying to get to the toilet. A little later the oldest was vomiting and having diarrhea all at the same time. All night long and still now there has been moaning and groaning from stomach pains, throwing up stomach acids, watery diarrhea, slight fever. It's 10:00 a.m. the following morning now and they are still very sick little girls. We have contacted the doctor who advised to keep small amounts of clear liquids going and to keep a close watch on their temperature. If their fever spikes, we are to take them to the emergency room. What a nightmare! How horrible for my granddaughters. Church's Chicken will never be eaten by us again and we will be urging our family and friends not to eat it either. We should be able to trust our food system--what is happening??? It's the weekend, and the health department is not open so there are most likely more and more people being fed this sickening chicken.
