I have always thought of myself as a reasonably intelligent adult... but this so called "fine print" that was evidently attached to my "free credit report" must have superseded my ability to understand & comprehend simple english. After some effort I was able to get this "service" canceled by following advice given through this website.

This is all because of freecreditreport.com The "free" credit report is good for 30-days, and after that point, you're charged $12.00 per month for it. This for me has been going on for 3 months now. I'm in the process of disputing it with my Visa card company as well as with CIC. They are actually located not too far from where I'm living. I'm tempted to show up at their doors with all the complaints! I'm trying to get out of this too. Nice to know I'm not alone!
