Mellon Bank informed me of a security breach but gave me free enrollment in Tri[;eAdvantage credit monitoring. I signed up and had to provide many levls of personal information (ssn, dob, mothers maiden name). Only then, to find that you must first pay to get your credit reports pulled (which everyone knows is free via annualcreditreport.com). I did not pay for this but kept my free monitoring thinking it might be something i didnt realize. However, in the next few months, i had fraudulent charges on one of my cards and i had my wallet lost whereby i had to replace all my cards. i later contacted tripleadvantage citing my account and asked them why they had no activity to report. i asked why not? i had had several credit incidents that should have prompted notice.

They explained they do not perform monitoring. They also said I need to buy the reports. I told them Mellon Bank had promised free monitoring. Where was it? The person said only "I will cancel your account sir" . That was it. They cancelled me after I gave them all kinds of personal information. Its a ripoff.

a chage to my visa account of $14.95 appeared which i did not authorize! cic*triple advantage I have never heard . Please issue credit to my visa today.

On 8-13-07, and 9-13-07, this company charged my Bank of America credit card $12.95 without my authorization.
