Late car payment
I have my car financed with CitiFinancial Auto.
Yes, I'm behind on payments and I regret it more than ever. After the loss of my job I informed them of this. They DO NOT want to work with you and YES they will come to your home asking for payment. They will also call ANYONE and everyone you know! They have called my AUNT in another state, family friend, and my brother. How they got these numbers and names, I DO NOT KNOW! BEWARE! They will ruin your credit plus your reputation!

Customer Service Issues
I have been trying to get help with my payments to be deferred. I was laid off twice in 2 years from two jobs consecutively. I have called a week in a row talking to the Vice President, an Assistant VP, and many reps on my account. No one is able to help me. This company is terrible when it comes to customer service. I have an AVP literally belittle me and treat me as if I was nothing. He told me it was my "Perogative" to do what I had to do. He also refused to give me his manager's name and phone number. If I could sell my truck and get out this loan I would. This company is a complete disgrace to the Auto Industy. Maybe they should go out of business soon with the other companies.

Online & Pay By Phone Method
I do majority of my banking and bill payments with on-line banking. It is easier, paperless, and convenient with some one who has a busier than most lifestyle. I could not believe it when I went to make my first payment on my Citibank Auto Loan, that there was an ADDITIONAL $14.95 in order to make this payment. Of course I refused to pay it that way. With the economy as it is who can possibly just throw away $15.00? Even worse, and to my surprise, I attempted to pay-by-phone and low & behold the same amount would be assessed $14.95. When I called to inquire about this my service and attnedant was rude. There was NO escape. I have never ever banked with anyone or company that did not provide FREE (Convenient) on-line service or by phone. As for a company as big as Citibank, I jsut cannot believe that they do not provide this service to their customers. This really needs to be looked at as I am sure that there are many more people than just MYSELF, who would much rather pay on-line or by phone without having to give up GAS money, GROCERY money, the hastle and the inconvenience. For this to be my first payment & experience it doesn't leave me with a good feeling about this company.

Rude Nasty Representatives, Managers, etc.
I am a customer of citi fi auto. I have been trying to fix the situation that i am currently in with my auto loan. My main complaint is that i am very very tired of the way i am being treated as a customer. The Reps. team leaders, supervisors that i have come acrossed in the past two weeks are terrible people to deal with. I am tired of being civil with a group of people that is just down right rude, and hateful minded people.Yes they have a job to do and maybe they don't feel well or just don't want to come to work, but that is no reason, to just be nasty because, i can, and i won't be reported. I always start civil and at peace, but by the time, they with thier nasty selves get through making remarks, then I forget my manners. I'm not going to be nice while someone is being ugly to me. I've had it with citi fi auto employees. I don't think that the Ceo/ President of citi fi auto, intended for her employees to represent her in this manner. It is time for all these different departments to be put in Check.

Very poor customer service
They made errors on my vehicles title which have prevented me from getting the car registered. I have been trying to get the problem corrected for two months. I have been referred to multiple parties in multiple departments. I have left over a dozen messages and to date have not received the courtesy of a call back from anyone in the Citi Financial Auto title Departments.

Worst company I've ever dealt with
CitiFinancial has been so rude to me and is the worst company I've ever dealt with!! I was in a car accident in April of '08... I am now going into 3months of being without a car b/c of them. I have called everyday to make sure they got the insurance check, gap check, and then the balance due after that b/c I had a deferred payment that they assured me would not mess up my account if I took that option... don't believe that one!! They are saying my account is passed due for 2 months and that I needed to pay it because it was being reported to the credit bureau... They told me in an earlier conversation that during the time insurance and everything that it would not be reported. My question is, why when you are getting paid from insurance and gap would I continue to make payments during this time?? Then you would just have 2 or 3 extra payments from me that you are doing what with?? SCAM ARTISTS!! But everytime I talk to them I can never get a straight answer. They give me the run around and then people they have in their customer service dept. are the poorest excuse for human beings that I've ever had to deal with. They argued with me and told that I was not listening to them, they are extremely rude, in the middle of me trying to ask them a question they just put me on hold w/o any notice, I asked to speak to a manager and she was an ever bigger... fill in the blank... I told her that if she would let me ask my question without being put on hold or INTERRUPTED (which they are infamous for doing) then maybe I wouldn't get so upset. The woman told me that I was stubborn and needed to be quiet and listen to her... Dealing with them has been the worst nightmare I've ever had to deal with. Poor customer service, poor communication, poor management,... the list goes on. There is not one even remotely good thing I could say about them!!

Harassment or deadbeat with disabilities!
Well i had a brain tumor surgery i am single and no one does my bills for me! Well this rep named rick called me and told me to refinance i agreed to all the terms was signed for a lower payment than it was null and void. Well i feel threatened by his voice u better make a payment today! Butt i have a letter they mailed me it is due b4 the 4th of february. So for spite i feel to repro this i can't take this harassment with the condition i am in. Also i have everything on tape!

Mishandling of Loan payments!
My daughter purchased a car in may, 2007. This Company provided the financing, however, the dealership did not provide them with a complete address for my daughter.
After a month passed and there was no communication from the financing co. my daughter was concerned. She got in touch with the dealership because she had no contact infor. for Citi Financial Auto. When she finally reached the Co., she was told that they had no apartment number listed in her address. She went to the post office and sent a payment (her first) that same day. Citi Financial Auto Claims to have never received that payment. Three weeks later, I made a payment over the phone, after authorizing the post office to trace the first payment z9 a money order issued by the US Postal service). 10 days later, Citi Financial Auto claims to have not received this 2nd payment either!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING OVER THERE? NO WONDER THEY HAVE SUCH A BAD REPUTATION!!!
