Ref back payments
We have a 2nd mortgage loan thru citi out of the marshal mo office. I'm about 2 payments behind due to the loss of my wife's job. now they want to foreclose on my home for less than 1000.00.i advised them I would try and get second payment in soon but I only get paid twice a month and my first mortgage is 1267.00 a month and I bring home 1400.00.i asked about an interest payment and they said that since the loan was already modified that I couldn't. I don't know how people can be so heartless in this time of the economy. If I were a bank I could have gotten bail out money right off the bat. It seems they don't care and make threats of taking my home for less than 1000.00.maybe this is the way they are trained to be. I'll find a way some how and if I do get enough money someday I will pay off the note and never ever go thru them again and will not advise anyone either.

Scam charges
Not only is Citifinancial aka Associates) a predatory lender, it is impossible to get any problem resolved. The customer service department is trained to be evasive and will never give you a manager to resolve a problem. When I refinanced my existing mortgage with Citifinancial to another lender my payoff figure was higher than my original amount of loan. After paying $890.67 since August of 1999, my payoff figure was higher than the original amount and no part of the principal was payed off. They would not provide me with an amortization schedule as requested. They claim my mortgage is a daily accrued interest account. This means that if the mortgage is 1 day late they charge $28.28 per day until the payment is received. After reviewing my Promisory Note, it clearly states that I have 15 days grace period after which a late fee of 5% will be assessed. No where in this note does it state that this is an accrued interest loan. I have requested an audit of my account and after 2 months have received nothing. The customer service reps are rude, evasive, and never note your account files that you have a problem or request. There are numerous class action suits against Citifinancial and a major suit filed by the Federal Trade Commission. There must be millions of consumers who not only are paying high interest rates to this Terrorist Company but are paying all kinds of illegal fees and additional interest to these Greedy Pigs. Something must be done to stop financial terrorism in this country. Enron is a perfect example of this and Citifinancial is guilty of the same kind of greed.

Scam and cheating
I paid my loan off a couple of months ago and they kept telling me that they were going to send me my tittle to my vehicle and my home but i never received it.They have promised me that i would have gotten it by now but still i haven't received it yet so whats up with citi financial. Why are the closing all their offices and not notifying the public. Ive even called other citi financial offices to find out about relocations and they couldn't tell me anything so i am wondering whats up with citi financial. I will never in this life time take out another loan with that company ever again.

Terriable Company
I was behind a payment behind because I was taking care of my dying mother at her home, and was trying to pay both mortages because family & renters shafted us. I called them to let them know the situation they said that is fine and just give them a check for the last day of the month to stop all of the harrassing calls and if I don't have it just call them and tell them to not put the check through. So I received my incom tax two weeks before the check was suppose to go through and made a payment plus extra. Called Customer service and told them to cancel the other check that was supose to go throught the last day of the month, She said that that payment would go towards the following month then. WELL needless to say it didn't it was all applied to an $1800.00 Hazardous insurance they decided to put on my account when I already had insurance. Then they would call work six plus times a day to say I am late. When I brought up what happened more or less said tuff and I still need to come up with this money they would investagate what happened but to save our credit and stop the calls we needed to pay it upfront. Well I didn't have that extra money. SO GUESS WHAT WE ARE NOW IN FORCLOSURE because of their mistake. Sucks for my credit but Lucky for me my mother had the trust to her house in my name, Still have a payment on her house but Countrywide is much better to deal with and much more understanding.

Customer Service
My friend and I both have this company and the same kind of treatment. They are rude, pushy, and liers. For my friend they took a check over the phone from her husband but it was set to be cashed two days before payday so she called and told them the day had to be two days later or it was going to bounce, they wouldn't and yes it bounced. Unethical business practices
My wife and I were refinancing our house with Citi. We locked in a rate of 5.875. The lock in period is 30 days. Citi had admitted to loosing our paper work in underwriting according to the emails between my broker and Citi. Yet when the lock in period expired due to there negligence they were not willing to honor the percentage rate we signed contracts for. They even told my broker they would allow a free extension period so the loan would be completed but then retracted that offer later. The rates at the time my loan was supposed to close were going up rather fast. Citi could have honored that rate and should have if they were a company of good morals. Financial institutions like Citi have been known too allow lock in periods to expire when they know rates are going to climb higher and this seems to be a classic case of that. Citi in my opinion is completely unethical and does not care about the people they do business with. Maybe if huge company's like Citi would do business properly and with a certain degree of ethics instead of just steam rolling over the very people that allow these companies to become the giants they are, this country would be a better place to live in. I hope Citi does the right thing and allows the loan to close with the original rate they quoted me; but knowing there track record I highly doubt it.

Terrible company!
My husband and I went to Citi Financial last August looking to consalidate some bills. We went in with high hopes because they seemed so interested in helping us with our situation over the phone. The lady working on our application said that our credit scores were great, which we already knew because we are subscribers to Credit Inform. She said we qualified for a home equity 1 loan. We were so excited to finally get from underneath the pressures of some of our bills. Little did we know that the pressure was going to get worse. The loan officer told us that our interest rate was going to be 20.99%. That since our credit was so good we avoided getting the 25.99% rate. My husband and I were speechless.

There was nothing we could do. We didn't have the time to apply anywhere else. We were in such a financial mess. We were not behind on our bills yet but we had loss some of our monthly income. We had to take the hand that was dealt to us and she knew that. I would advise anyone that has the time to weigh their options to stay out of citifinancial. I am suffering through a loan payment that is literally half interest and half payment.

By the time my husband and I pay off this loan (in the next 4 1/2 years), we will have paid them almost $9, 000.00 in interest and that is only $3, 500.00 shy of what we borrowed.

I am really fade up with Citi Financial!
Hello, I have Personal Loan from Citi financial and I have to close my Loan from last three day i am trying to contact Maninagar, Ashram Road, Navrangpura Branches but your executive not response anything what i do... I have to complete my loan as soon as possible and your people not give me the figure how much i have to pay...

Really I am very fade up with citi financial!
