I bought a Citizens Eco-Drive watch. The watch stopped working. I took it to my jeweler to have the battery replaced. They could not replace the battery because it does not have a traditional watch battery. I contacted Citizen, they instructed me how to Charge the power cell. After several tries, the watch still did not work. I returned it to Citizen under the warranty. They refused to honor the warranty saying the watch was "tampered with", because the back had been opened. The back had been professionally opened by a jeweler who found out there was no traditional battery. There was no "tampering". Now they refuse to honor their own warranty!
This is not a company that stands behind its products.
