Today at about 12:45 I called the office of the Parking Clerck at the number on their website - (617) 635-4410 - to have information on a ticket that I found on my online account and but not on my car and for a late ticket fee.
The person who answered the phone was extremely unpolite and aggressive for no reason.
I asked information on how to appeal for a ticket (I didn't understand why I got it) and I asked what was the process and what would happen. Do I have just to complete a form? Go to court? What?
The answer was: "You have to appeal and then you will see what happens."
I asked several times: can you explain me what will happen? And the person at the phone kept answering with a very annoying tone: "You have to appeal and then you will see what happens."
I got similar answers for all my questions.
I also asked information about a late fee for a ticket that I paid be mail on time and I just got a very offensive reply.
I NEVER had such a bad experience before with a service number where people who are suppose to help you to solve a problem.
As I am a citizen who pays taxes, I believe that the City of Boston should pay more attention about the people they hire. I understand that they get a lot of complaints, but they should be qualified to handle them. These kind of people shouldn't be put to answer the phone.
