City Property Management takes our money monthly (approx. $200/mo) for HOA fees. Yet, the pool, which is advertised as 'Heated" is not heated; the "gated community" has gates unlocked every single day from 7 am to 7 pm--allowing dubious people to use our trash receptacles as their personal trash disposal, teenagers wandering around the complex trying to break in, outdoor lamps not lit at night, children riding bicycles around the driveways and sidewalks with no regard to others, especially the elderly walking on the sidewalks; no enforcement of dog poop pickup. Our pool umbrellas and tables were taken away in the spring for "refurbishment". It is now October and no sign of either umbrellas or tables--this through the hottest summer in Phoenix in years. The workout room had a flood because of the water heater; everyone understood the need to close it while the carpet was replaced--but SIX weeks is extreme in the need to replacew carpeting. If you try to call our "manager", Jenna, no call is returned. To be honest, the property manager will only say no to whatever you request--the Property Management Company works for P.B. Bell and P.B. Bell pays for and controls the management company.
City Property Management is supposedly in charge of Terra Vista condos on Tatum & Cave Creek. If you are thinking of buying a condo or even renting one, check to see who is in charge of the HOA. If it is still City Property Management--STAY AWAY! You'll be as sorry as I am to live here!
