On November 23, 2007 i bought a 2000 pontiac trans am from the owner of city select motors. Two things happenend with this car. One, they gave me a 3000, 3 month warranty that they chose to not honor. the rear end had problems that were covered under warranty. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the dealer chose to not respond to the BBB therefore receiving an F for failure to respond to the BBB and failure to not hold up with Warranty. Next, a few months later i was trying to sell the vehicle when some red flags were coming up on the car. The car had previously had a manufacture buyback/lemon on it which the dealer who sold me the vehicle knew about and still chose to sell the vehicle for top dollar, knowing the car was worth half the value. There resolution was nothing. I have not been reimbursed for anything and therefore have been forced to take action against the dealership. According to Illinois laws, Dealerships must disclose this information when buyi
ng the car. I spoke with the owner and he told me on the phone a few weeks ago, he knew the car was a buyback and still sold me the car without disclosing this info. Run from this place and run far.
Damage Resulting = Loss of vehicle, Loss of $10, 000.00 which is the value of the car that is lost from what i paid to what the car was really worth with a buyback in its history. About $1000.00 more because they didnt honor the warranty.
