On 9/1/07, we had a blackout in our house. My wife called Citywide Electric for service as I was out of town. She agreed to the diagnostic fee of $19.50 over the phone. They sent an electrician to inspect the problem. The electrician quickly found that the breaker was tripped. He reset the breaker without prior negotiation of additional fees. He then turned-around charged us $149.50 for the service. That is in BREACH OF CONTRACT which stated $19.50 diagnostic fee (the entire diagnostic process took less than 5 minutes.)
On 9/4/07, I called the corporate office to complain. I was told I should talk to Vani, the manager, but he was on vacation until next week. I was advised to leave a voice mail which I did and left my phone number in the voice mail. I waited a week and didn't hear anything.
On 9/11/07 noon, I called again and was told Vani just out to lunch. So, I called again in late afternoon and was told he is on the phone. I was advised to leave a message for him to call me back. I told the receptionist that I already did and Vani didn't call me back. She asked me to leave the complain with her so that she will put it on his computer to make sure he will call back. So, I did left my phone number and the complain with her. That was weeks ago. I still have not heard from Vani.
