I had the same thing happen to me. Except, I signed on for a one-time only fee that would expire in 3 months. It did expire...almost a year ago. Now, months later they charged me $39. I called classmates customer care # 425-917-5000. I spoke to a guy who has obviously gone through the same old shpeel at least a hundred times. He refused to refund my money. I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau and he still refused. I finally asked to speak to his supervisor. The same guy came on the line shortly afterward and said he could do me a favor and exchange the $39 membership to a $9.95 membership. I said absolutely not. He finally agreed to make this exclusive exception just this once. They said they will reverse the charges. I then instructed him to delete any credit card information they have on file for me. He said he would do that, too. WE WILL SEE...if I don't see a refund within 10 days, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. CLASSMATES.COM SUCKS!!!

However there is no way I can talk to a person there as they are always too busy. I recently signed up for a three month trial. I should have saved my time and money.

Just unsubscribe me and we'll call it even! Can you do that???

I was charged an unauthorized $17.00 on my debit bank card on July 17, 2009. I cancelled my membership mounths ago and this charge must have been a mistake. I would like a full refund on my account and for you all to check my cancelation and re cancel it if needed. i have been trying to call 206-301-5900 for 3 days and was unable to get through. Please be prompt against fixing this matter.

Stated we had an auto-renewal and deducted $39.00 TWICE (once for me and once for husband) in the middle of Christmas shopping season. Can't contact them. Going to protest through the bank. Bad billing practices!

I innocently went on classmates.com to find out info about a class reunion. Every time I went onto the home page, there were ads for local women who were shall we say advertising themselves for ??????? Unsolicited ads shouldn't be a part of a page which could really be a neat communication tool to get in touch with old high school buddies. I cancelled my membership. Too bad a good thing has to go bad - - -
