unauthorized charges (over $110)
This company gave my wife a free trial that amounted to nothing. then they went ahead and stole over $110 from my bank account. It took months to get some of the money back but still lost $40. I dont know how it is legal to do this. They need to go out and arrest these people instead of wasting time catching people speeding! Why isn't our government investigating them. seems like enough people filed complaints that they have evidence of fraud. I opened a case with the Better Business Borough but i dont think they did anything.

Deceptive Advertising
I got taken by a .99 free trail for tooth whitener and am getting charged $92.37 a month by some other company in Utah called "Supplements". I canceled on time, got proof of delivery for my return but was charged before the trial period was up!
The Better Business Bureau listed 928 complaints against this company and rates them "F". Their real name is Rauscher-Bekke-LLC

Hidden fees
I went online and find this website saying free trial with just shipping...Now I am going to be charged $80 a month unless I cancel. Fine. I called fifteen times to cancel today and no one picks up and the messaging system where I am told by their automated service to leave a message isn't accepting messages. The chat person on line has an IQ of 50 I can only assume given she/he has three to four set messages that do not respond to my input even remotely. The website does not offer me a cancellation option as they indicated it would when I go into the customer service section, as directed, at the bottom of page. I guess I will have to change my credit card since they have my number and will be charging me for stuff i do not want after falsely advertising at the outseet. STAY AWAY FROM CLEAN WHITES. IT IS A SCAM FOR SURE.

Unauthorized bill & ship of product
SCAM - CLEAN WHITES!!!
I saw an article detailing the .99 offer to try teeth whitening.. received package, did not open, went south for winter, opened my charge bill 5 weeks later and have two charges in addition, for $79.95 and $83.90.
Called the 800 number and only would get $30 credit, talked to supervisor and got $50 each credit but not enough. They claim terms and conditions say to return product in 13 days or you are charged. I didn't see terms and conditions because it is on bottom of web site when you order... you have to scroll down...
THIS IS A SCAM!

FRAUD, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, UNDISCLOSED FEES, UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES TO CREDIT CARD, CHARGES UNDER VARIOUS NAMES, CHARGED BEFORE PRODUCT RECEIVED
I can NOT believe I fell for this SCAM!!! Mine was for their latest product (or ONE of who knows how many current scam-products) for "CLEAN WHITES"... It wasn't until we got our VISA credit card statement on 11-18-09 that I realized CLEAN WHITES IS a TOTAL SCAM, RIP-OFF by a BS / FRAUDULENT business that I began investigating….And MAN, these CRIMINALS have been at it for some time now with ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT PRODUCTS, OR RATHER SCAMS/CONS...
The main thing I want to know is, WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS ?? This so called business has been falsely marketing many different products, under different names, and most likely not at the same time. The practices, advertising, unauthorized charges to our charge and bank accounts is NOT LEGAL!!! WHAT CAN WE DO???? I'm guessing the address of 62nd Street in Miami is a small Call Center, based there to process orders, but the real business, or rather the SOB's owning and setting it all up, are in another country, (maybe in the middle east)...Maybe even RagHead/Terrorists (sorry if that offends some people; intended for the real "bad guys).
When I went to the CLEAN WHITES website to Cancel a so called "Free Trial MEMBERSHIP" (the word MEMBERSHIP was NEVER MENTIONED IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM in the website, advertisement or order form-- they created/established withOUT my knowledge)... altho the Order Receipt that came in the package instructed to go to their website (cleanwhites.com) or call their Customer Service @ 877-292-6892 to cancel or for questions, when I clicked the Customer Service link, another link in a pop-up said "to cancel, click the link below"...However, the ONLY fields available to enter info into were for billing and/or shipping address CHANGES, OR to LOG OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT! So I typed in an available field to CANCEL MY ACCOUNT along with some nasty comments in the other address/available fields… When I clicked to close the tab for the website, a Pop-Up Instant Message came up were offering a ONE TIME ONLY 75% discount if ordered today…..I played like a new customer, asking repeatedly for their telephone number as I wanted to TALK to a REAL LIVE PERSON…. I was given the same number I’d been calling….I then asked if the person (??), “KELLY”, that was chatting with me was a REAL LIVE PERSON…. The response from Kelly was “MY NAME IS KELLY AND I’M A LIVE VIRTUAL AGENT”. Then I disclosed that I was a victim of their scam, etc., etc…..I then copied several COMPLAINTS from this site, ComplaintsBoard.com into the IM Chat with Virtual “Kelly”
VARIOUS TEL.#'S, and were noted as “International Service Fee“! "CleanWhites" ADVERTISED THEIR PRODUCT WAS "SEEN ON “THE TODAY” show". Additionally, in the ad I read, CleanWhites said their product has also been on news shows that included CNN, FOX NEWS, ABC. ESPN & More! But NOT as an Advertisement, but as news story telling a story about “A Mother that found a cheap way to get whiter teeth“, along with "Her Story"). I didn't even receive the initial order of the so called "Risk Free Trial" for FOUR WEEKS after placing my order; THREE WEEKS AFTER WHAT THEY CLAIMED WAS MY "END OF TRAIL PERIOD"! I have CALLED CleanWhites SEVERALTIMES beginning the day I received package/free trial, 11-19-09, and each day since (today is 11-22-09); My calls have NEVER been answered by a live person, I get an automated “Please hold for the next available representative”….I was on hold for OVER 1.5 HOURS twice! I have left a messages, and no one returns the calls!

14 Day Trial Period
Here is the deal with Clean Whites:
Example:
1) Place your order on 10/17/09
2) Receive confirmation of order on 10/17/09 that says your trial period ends 10/30/09. (Which is only 13 days unless you include th 17th as a full day)
3) Received the product on 10/23/09. With a letter in the package that says my trial period ends 10/31/09.
So basically you don't get to try the product for a full 14 days before you can cancel you actually only get 9 days.
At the bottom of the letter is states "The fastest & easiest way to cancel..." LOL funny they know you need to cancel fast. And it also says "All sales after the Risk-Free Trial period are final and 100% non-refundable.
If it's too good to be true then it probably is!! Carefully read the Terms of Service ANYTIME you purchase something online. Which I neglected to do! My bad and my shame!
Good Luck everyone!

unauthorized debiting of credit card
I wanted to let you know that Clean Whites is a fraudulent company. Clean Whites for tooth whitening is not legitimate. You sign up for their .99 cent trial & your credit card is charged an obscene amount. When you do get someone on the line which isn't the phone number on the bill; they won't do anything for you except to say return the product & eventually they will refund your money. Yeah right. I was on hold for 20 min before I got anybody. Google this number 866.797.7348 & you'll see. They are being promoted by ABC News, Fox News, WebMD, CBS News. These promoters make it sound like they are a legitimate business which there are NOT.

"Free" trial sample
I just went through this whole process with dazzling whites (DW) and clean whites (CW), after seeing the article written by the CA woman about the success of using the 2 samples together. I placed the order on 10/27 received them on 11/4 and was required to cancel the CW trial period by 11/9 - not really enough time to actually try the product. Like others, I did see the pop up windows for other products, but I deselected those. When I ordered the "free" sample CW only mentioned my subscription (for $79.95) to the product after I'd already clicked the button to pay for the trial! I knew at that point that this was probably a scam. My debit card was charged the shipping charges of, .99 cents (CW) and $1.99 (DW).
When I tried to cancel Clean whites using their automated system - according to their instructions and within the trial period - I then found out that I had to pay $6.99 for a UPS shipping label to return the product/empty jar. I did so and following that I canceled my debit card. But CW NEVER e-mailed me the shipping label. After I phoned them, they told me that they had to void the cancellation and the $6.99 charge and recharge me the $6.99 again in order to "re-send" the UPS label. So far the charge is on hold with my bank, so I'm still waiting to see if they actually canceled it. I tried to pay the $6.99 again, but since the only other card I have is an AMEX & I'd canceled my debit card, they couldn't do it. They don't accept AMEX. I offered to send it myself via UPS and they told me that I couldn't because I needed their special tracking number. I argued with them on the phone about whether they were planning to charge me for the subscription and what they were now going to do about my cancellation. They said they would put a note in my account and that I could pay for the label when I received my new debit card and that I would not be charged for anything else. The following day (11/7), I received an e-mail from them "confirming" my cancellation with the instruction that cancellation would be complete upon payment of the $6.99 for the UPS label and receipt of the returned product. I called them yesterday to confirm that the initial $6.99 charge was actually voided. They said that it was. After hanging up with them frustrated and fed up, I decided (even without proof from my bank that the initial $6.99 had indeed been canceled) to just bite the bullet and pay the $6.99 for the label with a VISA gift card and be done with the whole thing. When I called again I spoke to an agent who was very rude and asked me what more he could do for me since my account had already been canceled. When I explained to him that the only e-mail I'd gotten was the one explaining how to complete cancellation and that I'd never received the UPS label he said that according to his records they'd sent me a free UPS label, since I'd been credited for the label (the label which I'd NEVER received), and my account was completely canceled. When I asked about the requirement to return the product, he said that I could keep the product as a courtesy. I sent them an e-mail telling them about this conversation and asking for written confirmation that my account is canceled, but they have not responded. I'm hoping that this is the end of it and that they they won't send any unsolicited products. Since they don't have a valid card number from me anymore, at least I can't be charged for anything.

Unauthorized Billing
I ordered the 14 day free trial. This company has charged my card for over $400.00 in a 30 day period. Totally ridiculous! Someone should really do something about this company. I called the company (from the many 800 numbers they have) and the first time the lady told me that they do not have me in their system. Really made me mad. The second number I called, the lady told me that their system was down and she would have to call me back. No call back and I have numberous charges on my card.
