So I bought a new to me truck at the end of February from Clear Lake Dodge. It's a 2008 Dodge 2500 & I love it. BUT since I brought it home it's had a few issues - headlight went out, power windows went wonky, and AC quit working.

When we took it to the dealership today to have the plates put on it (up til now it's had paper plates) I talked to the sales manager about how disappointed I am with all the issues the truck has had.

The manager's response to my concerns & complaints was a very snarky comment to the effect of 'you knew you were buying a used vehicle.' I know it's a used truck but you expect a dealership to stand behind what they sell, and look over it to try & prevent ticked off customers.

We fixed the headlight & the window switch control out of pocket. But I still don't have ac, and the dealership can't give me anything resembling a solid answer on if the extended warranty will cover it, if I can get a loaner vehicle while it's in the shop, or even how long they'll need the truck to get it fixed.

I am completely disappointed & disgusted by the people at Clear Lake Dodge. The service dept people just say they didn't sell me the vehicle - you work for the dealership - your name is on the truck. The SALES department people just blame it on the fact that it's a used truck & refuse to acknowledge that there is a problem if I'm having to fix that many problems within the 1st month I own a truck they sold me.

I will not be doing business with Clear Lake Dodge again. And I'd recommend anyone who is looking at their vehicles be very cautious because they don't stand behind what they sell.

we bought a 06 mini van from this dealership, and per texas law, we had 72 hours to reconsider our purchase of the vehicle,
we chose instead to purchase an 08 from another dealer, at a savings of $4, 600. when we attemped to return the 06 at Clear Lake Dodge, we were treated to about 2 hours of delay, threats, and out right lying. when i called the finance company. As we were instructed, they advised to leave the keys and vehicle at the dealer. they completly refused to take possesion of the vehicle. the finace company finally instructed to park the van in the back and lock the keys up in the glove box. Which was what we did after overhearing the sales manager state "we will tow it to thier blankty blank house!!!"
We left the van, but took pictures to prove it was undamaged. We recived sevral calls later including one that the salesman informed me that "We are filing charges on you for theft by deception!" when I asked the guy what did i get 140 miles out of it?, he hung up on me. They ran my credit 18 times, after we took the vehicle back! I will never do any more biz with these louses.
