Just wanted to let you all know that we had a survey done by these guys before we bought our house, and the bank we went thru highly recommeneded these guys. I tried to get an appt. setup so my husband or me could be there at the time they came out and they told us that no one had to be there, well, of course we didn't think anything of it being that it was before closing and we had lots of other things to do in the process. Since then, we've been in our house a couple months and now we're wanting a privacy fence, but can't determine clearly where our lines exactly run. Well, I called the guy the other day and told him that we couldn't make heads or tails of the drawing he provided (the lawyer said she couldn't make out much about it either and she called them to ask a question during closing as well) and he told me he could tell me on the phone where our lines went. I told him that I didn't understand what he was talking about and asked him several questions that he kept telling me no that wasn't what he was meaning. I told him I didn't understand what he meant, and he finally said that he could come out and show me. He said it would have to be one day he was in my neighborhood so he could come out and he didn't know the day or time he'd be out. He also said that he didn't come up this way too much and he'd just drop by. What I'm seeing here is he's trying to dupe his responsibilty on the crap drawing he did and the fact that he didn't even mark the property very well, either. He knows he screwed this up and doesn't want to make it right! I know he's not gonna come by and show us anything about our property lines, so that's why I wanted to let everyone know not to use them in closing or in anything else, they'll screw you over and take $375.00 for nothing! I don't think God takes kindly to people like this that is messing with honest people!
