Our flight was not cancelled due to weather. I watched many, many flights on your airline and others take off. I checked with other carriers and all of the scheduled flights to Chicago were not cancelled.
Another airline (Delta) had an aircraft slide off of the runway, causing
a temporary disruption in air traffic. Due to this, your plane was
delayed, then cancelled. Except, the only flights you cancelled were the flights on ERJ's into Chicago, as stated by every desk agent we spoke to as well as your Departure Schedule. It would be my guess that since Continental does not have many gates at either of Chicago's airports, you were not able to meet the arrival windows and were forced to cancel your flights. If Continental truly "values my business" as you state below, you would admit that this event is the fault of your airline and poor planning, and not the blame it on the weather. Your reply to me is as unacceptable as your response to the events on 2-18.
