I recently had my wallet pickpocketed on a bus. In itwas my TDBank debit card along with all my IDs etc etc. As soon as I realized it was gone I was at my local TD branch stopping my cards and getting new accounts set up. Not fast enough though...within minutes after my wallet was taken the thieves were at Macys charging $500 on my debit card. I did everything I could. I made a police report. I contacted SEPTA transit and told them what buses I had used and where I was pickpocketed. They said it was classic. I put a fraud alert on my credit report. I filled out everything the bank asked me for and even transferred $500 into the new account from another bank. They said the bank would investigate. So today I go to use my NEW debit card only to find it has been locked out. I am left at the supermarket counter with a cart full of groceries I can't pay for. I rush three blocks to the bank..surely this is a glitch on their part..no..I am told that I can't use my debit card any more..I have abused it and I am then given a card with no logo..which means I can only access my account through the bank directly. Nobody at the bank can tell me the reason..one says too many electronic transactions..one says I have made too many bank enquiries..nothing makes sense.

I keep calling various departments connected with the bank..and finally customer service tells me that someone has made a notation on my account that the debit card I lost was still in my possession after the pickpockets used it because they have two ExonMobil purchases that I made between 10 am and 11am that day posted for after 3pm, which was when my wallet was stolen. I have witnesses that I made the purchases before my card was taken..but according to the bank they were posted AFTER my walletwas taken. I think the bank is lying because they don't want tppay. I had given them the Control Numbers for the police reports I made..nobody at the bank can find them. How this bank can say they have conducted a thorough investigation I don't know..nobody has asked me any questions..nobody has called my about the police report or anything. So now I have been victimized twice..once by the thieves..and now by the other thieves..TD Bank.

At this point I don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be welcome.
