I was looking at the Mission Impossible dvd collection (all 7 years) at Amazon and saw an advertisement for this collection for $74.95. (http://clickdvdshows.tv/product.php?productid=3314787&cat=0&page=1)
I was charged a total of $99.90 (including shipping). To my surprise, the package came from China and took a while to get to me. Upon reception of the product I found 3 plastic cases, cracked and broken, with dvds that contained 4 episodes per disc. The first disc did not work in the dvd player nor computer. The second disc worked but it contained episodes that were originally broadcast on TV Land! The picture quality is atrocious in complete contradiction to their claim of "Excellent video and audio quality".
I sent them a complaint by e-mail. I was first told to go through all 41 discs and tell them which ones did not work! I was also told that this a "Collectors/Fan" collection and that there an "official" collection has never been released! This is patently false and I placed the following link in one of my e-mails to them:
http://www.amazon.com/Mission-Impossible-Complete-Greg-Morris/dp/B002L9N4N8/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1275047741&sr=1-12
I asked for a full refund because I would have NEVER ordered these discs had the website stated that they were copies made from TV Land broadcasts. So far they refuse to budge on refunding the shipping charges of $24.95. They are also requiring that I send this package back to China by registered mail.
I have now contacted my credit card company which is working with me.
I hope that I will receive a full refund. The $200 or so that it costs from Amazon is worth avoiding the hassle and headache of dealing with this company.
