Non delivery
Ordered an Olympus SW1030 and was originally told it was available. I was called back later that same day, they offered me an outragiously priced battery and memory card. When i declined purchase, they told me the camera was on backorder. I waited 2 months then canceled my order. I spoke to them twice while it was on backorder and was assured it would come. Ha!

Order Placed and on Back Order
I found this great deal on a Camera from CloseOutGenius (I thought). I placed the order on April 7th. I had to call to confirm the order. After doing that, then I get an email from them on April 13th saying that the camera is on "Back Order" for 2-3 weeks. I wait 3 weeks and then try to call them to see about my order. I call but it tells me that they are not open but by the internet, I was calling during their business hours. When I finally got a hold of them, they told me that it was still on "Back Order" for another 3 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and then called them again. This time they told me that they did not know when it would be available. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM...

extremely poor service
We purchased a garmin for my birthday and it took over 30 days for the item to be delivered. We called multiple times to get in touch with Closeout Genius to determine the nature of the delay and were dismissed repeatedly. No apology or refund was mentioned. I strongly advise against using this company for your purchases.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE LISTED HERE HAS EXPERIENCED LOW UPFRONT PRICE THEN THEY PUT YOUR "IN STOCK" ORDER ON INDEFINITE BACK ORDER IF YOU DON'T BUY OUTRAGEOUSLY MARKED UP XTRAS FROM THEM MAKING YOUR PURCHASE MORE THAN ANYWHERE ELSE. ALSO THEIR REPS ARE THE MOST RUDE, PUSHY ARROGANT "PEOPLE" I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. I AGREE WITH ONE WRITER WHO SAID SOMEONE SHOULD SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN AND PUT THEM IN JAIL.

POS Company
This is one of the biggest Piece of Crap Companies I have ever came into contact with. My story mirrors the others. You search for an item, it brings up a list of companies with their price, and you choose one. Once you choose this company and place your order, you are faced with the rudest, pushiest people you will ever come in contact with. If you do not agree to purchase a $20 SD card for $125 and a $15 battery for another $150, you are going to get an email stating your order is backordered for 2-3 wks and then you are not hearing from them again. This company has multiple websites including www. slrgenius, plasmagenius, etc. Please do not deal with this company, you will only waste time and end up stressed out.

False advertising
I purchased a Garmin GPS unit on the company's website. Two days later got a call from the company trying to sell me extra add ons. When I declined they rudely said that my order would ship that day and should receive it within 3-5 days. The next day I received an email stating the product is on backorder for 2-3 weeks. I checked their website and it still shows the product "in stock" over the past 2 weeks. I called today 3 weeks later to see when my order was going to ship and they hung up on me when I asked about my order.

scam
I ordered gps product online, seller convinced me to buy add'l product at high price. Not knowing what it was used for, I agreed. So I contacted Garmin and they told me I was ripped off by at least $140. I called back to numerous busy signals, finally, after getting through, I asked if I could return my overly priced additional product. The "manager", who was very rude, told me that I had to send back everything to get a refund, then I would only get back 85% of the total minus shipping, which was said to be free online and wasn't. So after getting upset, he hung up on me. This place is not business oriented. The sellers are scammers and the "top-guy-manager" as he calls himself, doesn't care about you as a customer. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Fraud, back alley scam
Please don't wasye your time...these people are the typical texbook back alley scam artists!!! I don't even think they actually sell any products!!! Never can get through on the phone or email. Rude people, try to get more money each time you call, and then you find out your item is always on back order...never a product!!! Going now to report them to Amazon and BBB.----- Greasy little back alley scammers!!!

My complaint is similar to previous complaints. Order product. Get call from closeout genius. Offer to sell add-on to product at ridiculously inflated priced. Decline the add-on product. Later, call company to confirm original order. Get put through numerous calls, put on hold, respond to information, get put on hold again a few more times, finally my order is confirmed after taking the contact person to task. Check the website a few days later and my product is on back-order.
So . . . I have now canceled the order, after reviewing similar complaints.
Extremely unprofessional treatment and demeanor on the phone. Very shabby.
