On Sept. 3, 2010, Clozermatic service people gave a $433 estimate for the replacement of a garage door panel and new key pad. They required a $200 deposit to place the order for parts which we wrote at that time. Since then, five different appointments were made for the repair and each time, no one showed. Our contact at Clozermatic, Dana, has consistently been apologetic but this has not resulted in the job we contracted getting done. On November 29, the last appointment was scheduled for December 2 at which time we agreed that if again the job wasn't done we would expect our money back. Again, they didn't show up nor did they call. We asked Dana to return our $200 deposit and she said that she didn't blame us. We didn't get our money back and we called for the second and last time on December 14 to request our money back. Dana indicated she "didn't know why" the check hadn't been sent and promised to do it right away. As of today, January 10, 2010, the refund has not arrived.
We are seeking a return of our $200 deposit.
